After months of establishing herself as a curve-loving fitness convert with her own line of videos, Kim Kardashian is taking her body business to another level. And I don't like where it's headed. Kim's sister Khloe told US magazine that the two will share more than a reality show — they'll soon be launching a diet product together called Quicktrim.
There's not much information about this product just yet, but Kim is starting to spread the word on her Twitter and wrote, "Our Quicktrim cleanse will be massive! Khloe has already lost so much weight! I'm so proud of her." I'm all for sisterly support, but anything that contains the words quick, trim, and cleanse makes me see a whole lot of red flags. Healthy, lasting weight loss can't be achieved through a quick fix.
It really gets my goat that these ladies are out there discussing how hard they've been working at losing weight through diet and exercise alone, but if I'm taking Kim's tweet to heart, they're not being completely honest. There seems to be quite a bit of hypocrisy in the Kardashians' newest undertaking — what do you think?

Sorry if I offend anyone for saying this, but, frankly, I think anyone who consumes weight loss products deserves whatever happens to them. It absolutely kills me when I see women taking diet pills, and this product seems to be no different.

22While I understand the frustration of wanting to lose those few extra pounds, I have read enough health and fitness literature to know that this diet will not last. Whoever uses this will just gain the weight back and end up losing lots of money in the process.
23ChocolateLove: For me it's not even about the fact that the weight loss is temporary that makes me so angry. I can't imagine how men and women can consume these products when there is so much research out there that shows the affects they can have on your organs!

I mean, yeah, most of these "weight loss" items are gimmicks and easy get-rich schemes. I like the girls because they are very entertaining, seemingly smart, and strong women, but i'll pass on the product. Nothing beats smart eating and exercise !!

29there's no way these chicks could put out something detrimental to your health - like ephedra or phentermine. yeah it's named "Quick Trim" - it's a "diet" product ... so it's given an apt title to get it noticed. you think a s@#$ load of beauty products WOULD sell if they had mediocre titles and/or descriptions ( or does Lip Venom have actual snake's VENOM in it to plump ones lips? )?
30i don't expect to loose any weight from anything other than diet and exercise, but Kim and Khloe both like to come across as being as "human" as possible for "celebrities" ( C list or not. ) and it could be a decent product... like if it has green tea, B vitamins and / or fiber in it. just have to see when it hits the shelves.

37Pathetic! Have these girls even attended college or taken any classes remotely close to fitness? Why would I buy a diet pill? Because I need an excuse to not eat right and exercise! Ladies, EAT 4-5x's a day, small meals only consisting of protein and veggies with a minimum of 1 gallon of water per day and I can GUARANTEE that combined with an hour and 30mins of exercise a day, you will drop 10-15lbs in at least 2wks!!!

44I don't hate the girls. I think they are simply trying to endorse their product as many other celebrities do. Is it a good product? Maybe not, but celebrities endorse all types of things so they aren't doing anything anyone else on tv hasn't done. Maybe they are doing it just for money, but even if they are I don't think they should be personally attacked. Just don't loose too much weight girls. Gotta keep those curves.
