It's normal to have weight fluctuations, depending on our diet, workout routine, and stress. Others may not be aware that you've put on some weight, but you're sure to notice either by the mirror, the scale, or how your clothes fit. People gain weight differently so tell me . . .

I totally see it in my face immediately, like I'm packing nuts for winter. And in my hands.
1superfoxml - that sounds like water retention. I have water retention whenever it's that time of month and it's really evident in my fingers and face.
2It's my hips, thighs and boobs...all at the same time. It's kind of not so bad though because I always look well-proportioned even if I put on weight.
3I put weight on in my hips and thighs. It makes me look pear shaped.
4The first place I gain weigh is my thighs and the first place I lose it is my face...
5First place I gain is the belly.
I found out the first place I lose is the boobs.
6first place i gain is my butt hips and boobs
however when i lose its my legs first
7It's usually the belly first for me, I'm one of those dreaded apple shapes.
I have a very long torso and short legs, even though I'm pretty tall, so I suppose it would be easier for new weight to settle there. I can tell in my clothes because my pants will be the first things to get a bit tighter in the waist, but not the hips ['cause I don't have any!]. It's highly irritating because clothes don't fit me properly most of the time anyway, and I have a tendency to stay in between sizes b/c of the whole big waist and thighs but no hips thing.
The first place I lose seems to be legs and then boobs. However, I only measure my true weight loss when the belly begins to go.
8hips too.
9Thighs / hips / bum for me! I suppose my boobs grow too... but of course, I notice the lower half weight gain first. I even out pretty proportionally. I'm working on a gaining a few healthy pounds and looking forward to more all-over curves!
10i'm such a pear, i gain wait on my thighs/hips/bum and my upper body stays small and i lose weight in my belly area first.
11Thighs&Chest equally and my arms and tummy are the first place I lose. I guess I can't complain.
12Definitely in my lower belly. I wish I gained weight in my boobs first, that seems to be the last place to get ever bigger, boo hiss.
13I always gain weight in my back, kind of like love handles. It's really weird.
14both my chest and belly
15I gain weight first in my thighs, and then loose it first in my belly area.
16Hips!
17gut. ALWAYS
18I just got back from an all inclusive vacay in Cuba and WOW my belly is gross and flabby
time to cardio overload
I gain love handles first and then it shows up on my belly. But nowhere else!! It's insane, I'm what I like to call "chili pepper-shaped" and when I gain I look like a stirring straw with a cheerio around the middle....
19Apple shape here. I gain first in my belly and I lose first in my legs. Like immediately. One week of cardio after doing nothing for months and my legs already look different. But for my belly, it took me about 3 months of intensive cardio and strenght training to look a little bit more flat. It's not as flat yet as I want, but my boyfriend loves it right now, so there's no rush.
20Ugh...the dreaded pooch
21Thighs and hips.
22i gain in my love handles & belly first.
23Tummy. When I'm overweight (as I was as a teenager), I'm apple-shaped. My body likes to store excess fat in my mid-section.
However, when I have no excess weight, I have a hourglass figure.
Also, extra weight shows up in my face, too. My face plumps up.
24Boobs, belly and face all at once. And since I'm about 5 feet tall, a few extra pounds is very noticeable.
25Belly and face. Bleh. I look like the marshmallow man.
26I gain weight on my belly first and I lose weight on my belly first. I can tell by the way I alternate different holes on my belt.
27My belly and then my thighs.
28BY THE WAY THE GIRL IN THE PHOTO HAS A GREAT BODY. And her pinching her perfect self makes me feel HUGE.
29Definitely my stomach! I find it really hard to lose weight from there as well. Even at the height of my eating disorder, the lower belly wasn't going anywhere! I suppose this is where I "learn to love" it.
But I agree with the above poster, it's a little difficult to
learn to love the belly pooch when the girl in the photo is prodding at her non-existent love-handles, heh.
30Ughhhhh thighs. The first place to gain, last to lose! I'm starting to lose the last of my belly flab (I only have a little), but the thigh pudge will take a while to budge. It gives me a pear shape, which is waay gross because I would normally have a really nice hourglass figure. UGH!
31I am a pear (spoon) shape so from my torso down! Never my boobs. NEVER MY BOOBS.
32Always in my stomach and the last place I lose it, well second to my boobs. No, my boobs are not fake, but for some reason no matter how much I lose, they stay the same.
33Hips/lovehandles. Ugh so over muffin top.
34stomach and bum is where i first gain. I wish those extra pounds would go to my boobs first...oh well!
35I'm not sure on the gaining front -it seems to go everywhere! (although distinctly on my hips)
As for losing... apparently i just 'suddenly' look like i've dropped weight after a while... the legs are the LAST place to lose it though as I've never yet gotten them how I want them!
36I gain all over...which is probably why it's not noticeable..until it's really noticeable. I just swell up...inches gained on every part, pretty much evenly I gain in my face, my arms, my stomach, the upper part of my booty, legs...everywhere...I just thicker and thicker....but my stomach is the worst...it just protrudes and then makes it's way around the back to the top part of my booty creating a boxed affect. I'm not an apple, because I have strong sturdy thick legs. To an outsider, I looked fine...but naked, it wasn't working for me...as a result I worked hard to shape it up and maintain.
My bestfriend and I have two totally different bodies...her gain goes to her lower half, I think she's got it easier. I mean, the men we date like hips/thighs/and booty...but who likes a belly unless it has a 6month baby sleeping inside? I wasn't having it. lol My body is my body, but I can make it be the best that it can be. Weight lifting has also helped change the contours.
Okay, way to much talking...I'm out.
37right in my belly, giving me a nice, bloated, 2 months pregnant (at least in my head) look.
