I love a good BBQ as much as the next girl, but all that food can really do a number on your waistline. -- So for easy ways to cut out a few calories at your next barbecue, all while still getting to enjoy the food you love read more

Fit's Tip: If you're heading to a friends for a summer barbecue, offer to bring something. This way you know there will be at least on thing healthy on the menu.

We always grill different fruits such as apples, pears, pineapples for appetizers or dessert. A little brown sugar and lemon juice on peaches wrapped in foil and then grilled for 10 minutes is a great dessert!
1Love the Fit Tip. I totally do that. But beware: If your friends are anything like mine, you will be made fun of.
2These are all very good in theory, but very difficult to actually do!
3I'd rather skip the idea of calorie counting during a bbq. The food is way to tasty.
4Good advice, I'm following most of them.
5We always do kabobs- lots of veggies and tofu, no need for cheese or a bun. And I'm pretty sure they way I like my corn- SMOTHERED in butter- isn't low calorie, so I'll stick with potato salad- just made with oil and vinegar instead of mayo. And hommade fruit sorbet for dessert! Yum!

8Those r great tips, I refuse to skip croutons on my salad though.
