When I was in college, I had a serious Pop-Tarts weakness, though I don't let myself indulge in them anymore. However, I'll admit I was excited to try Fiber One's version, which isn't low-cal or really "healthy," but at least they're high in fiber! And who doesn't love fiber right?

Basically, if you like(d) Pop-Tarts, you'll love Fiber One Toaster Pastries, but if you shy away from processed foods, you'll probably steer clear of these too. The tarts come in blueberry, brown sugar cinnamon, chocolate fudge, and strawberry, and of course I tried the chocolate. So is the indulgence worth it?
As you can see, the Fiber One Toaster Pastries look a lot like Pop-Tarts, and they have the assorted corn-based ingredients to match, including high fructose corn syrup. At 190 calories per pastry, they aren't exactly low-calorie, though not too bad if you eat nothing else for breakfast.
Of course, they also have 5 grams of fiber, which is 20 percent of your daily allowance and serves its purpose. This treat kept me full until lunch. But 5 grams of fiber isn't enough to convince me to eat something so artificial for breakfast — though as an occasional indulgence, they taste pretty darn good. Is it worth it to you, every once in a while? Check out a closer look at the nutritional information below.

I love poptarts, don't normally eat them because of the high calorie count. I normally lean towards the whole grain ones but i'll def have to check these out. They look tasty
1i've tried the blueberry ones of these and they are yuck.
2I haven't had a Pop Tart in years and this kind of thing generally doesn't appeal to me. I guess it's a good replacement if you occasionally have a Pop Tart for breakfast but I think I'll stick with my Kashi oatmeal and greek yogurt breakfast combo.
3My biggest problem with Pop Tarts (which I'm guessing is the case with these too) is that the serving size is "1 pastry" but they come in packs of two inside the box. For so long I would eat the pack of two Pop Tarts (which is also the serving size given in vending machines) and then realized that I was eating 2x the calories and fat I thought I was consuming. I'll stick to my Stoneyfield Farm Banilla yogurt w/ granola each morning. Greatest combo!
4Breakfast is a non-negotiable for me, I have to sit down and savor it, and there is no way I am able to savor a poptart or anything else that is just as processed.
5Too many calories. Might as well have the actual Pop-Tart.
6i dont understand why there are two pastries in the package while the serving size is one! lameee.
7I don't like eating stuff like this for breakfast... even if it has a lot of fiber and is under 200 calories (for one) it just doesn't start the day off on the right foot for me.
8Right now I'm loving sliced strawberries, non fat yogurt and 1/4 cup of fiber one for breakfast. It's sweet, easy to digest, and keeps me satiated until lunch.
I don't mind the calories, but for me there is too much sugar and not enough protein in those, or Poptarts. Maybe for a treat sometime, but it better taste pretty darn good in order for me to justify eating it as a treat.
9I don't do anything even resembling Pop Tarts anymore. In college, I used to eat a pack of Pop Tarts and a cappuccino for breakfast and it clocked in at almost 700 calories and left me starving by about 10 am. So, unless these Fiber One pastries are incredibly filling, they probably wouldn't do it for me. Plus, I'd probably eat both pastries even though the serving size is only one. So yeah, "healthy" Pop Tarts are still Pop Tarts in my book. I'll stick with my oatmeal in the morning.
10I don't eat that kind of junk for breakfast. When I was a kid, I would eat half of one poptart as an after school snack. But now I need protein for breakfast, and preferably low cal
11Nah. If I'm going to indulge in some good ol' fashioned processed food, it might as well be the real thing.
12All these Fiber One products are always so high in sugar...
13I tried the chocolate and the blueberry - I found that just one was indeed enough to fill me up so I didn't even want the other. However, if you do buy these and actually heat them up in the toaster, watch out for the icing. On both flavors it melted and the first time it happened it gave me a NASTY 2nd-3rd degree burn on the palm of my hand.
Especially since I'd eat these before being fully caffienated, that's too much of an injury risk!
