Are you a list maker? If not, you should give the simple act of writing it all down a whirl. When your mind is jumbled with lists of tasks, it is hard to relax and be in the moment. But writing all those to-dos down can clear your mind, so you can get to the task at hand. Seeing all your chores listed out can help you brainstorm on how to actually accomplish the goals you have set out to achieve. Don't underestimate the power of crossing a finished task off the list. Putting that slash through some cumbersome chore can really give you a sense of pride. When you feel like you haven't done anything for the day, you can refer to your list and see all that you have done. Do you keep to-do lists?

I don't usually keep a written list, but I do keep mental lists of everything I have to do during the day. I occasionally forget to do something, but not usually.
1I'm totally lost without lists!! I have one for work and one for life. The thrill of crossing something off is AWESOME. I even put things like returns and going to the post office on my list, for the sheer joy of crossing things off!
2me too glitter! one for work and one for my life, i put everything on them, from little tasks like buying stamps to reorganizing my closet, which i sub list! it feels so good to cross things off!
3I for some reason have gotten away from my lists, and was really stressed out about getting stuff done. Well of course when I came back to my lists I felt better about getting things done. They also help me stay focused and actually follow through with things (huge procrastinator).
4I rarely remember to make lists, which is bad, since I have adult ADD, and forget things all the time anyway! Whoops!
But really, I need to start making lists. I feel like writing them on paper and crossing them out would be more visceral and rewarding, but I worry that I'll need to add something to the list in the middle, and maybe a computerized list might be neater?
5I always have some kind of notebook in my purse. Sometimes they do end up looking a little messy but its a lot messier when everything is jumbled in my head.
6i ve been doing lists since my school days..i love them..especially when i had loads of work to do and then id love to cross them out..now i do them for items to take to bbq, work, things to take and leave at his place...etc... they life saving
7I am also a list maker, and like lady-T, I have been making them since i was a kid. My mother always makes lists, when we'd be home in the summer, she'd leave us a list of chores to do, so naturally I've always made lists. I also am addicted to having paper calendars. Palm pilot has nothing on writing down what you have to do each day and checking it off. I have a desk calendar on my desk at work, and a family calendar in my purse for important life tasks! Love it & I'm not even a Virgo (they love organization - not trying to insult anyone, you'd just think that I was a virgo with the way I have to have everything organized!!!)
8I'm always using lists! I would miss so much if I didn't.
MariahGem, computerized lists are nice but difficult to keep up to date. I like to use my phone so that I always have it with me. It's very convenient!
9Love list, I have multiple lists. One for work, one for daily & one for projects, which sublists attached. The joy of crossing things off & seeing that I'm getting things done in my hectic life lets me sleep better.
10i make lists constantly!
my most frequent lists are:
-chores to do this evening
11-stuff i need to buy (always divided into "house", "me", "work" and "fitness" columns!)
-what to do this weekend
and
-what to buy friends and family for christmas
haha.. mem952.. do you realize that you just made a list about making a list! Haha.. classic!
12Lists are the only way I stay sane! The feeling of crossing something off is amazing
13Oh and I always keep my list near my bed so if I wake up during the night with something on my mind I can write it down and forget about it - instead of thinking/worrying all night!
