Last year the women's Wimbledon finals brought the Williams sisters to center court rallying through two sets of sibling rivalry, with Venus coming out the champ. The men's final was super exciting with Federer and Nadal battling for five long sets. In fact it was the longest men's final match in the history of Wimbledon. The world renowned tennis match opened today, but unfortunately Rafael Nadal will not be competing — he is sitting out to nurse his injured knees. But, by the message on her shirt, Serena Williams looks ready to take on whoever comes her way, both on and off the court.
Will you be watching Wimbledon?

Hell yes! Kind of upsetting that Nadal has to sit Wimbledon out this year for his tendinitis, but I suppose that'll put him in full charge for the US Open. Also, no Mario Ancic who'll hopefully be healthy come Open as well.
Also, to speak completely free of hyperbole about last year's men's Wimbledon final, super exciting is an understatement! It's difficult to remember that epic without feeling the same undiminished enthusiasm felt as the match first ensued. It felt like two state of the art laptop computers battling each other as millions of onlookers hoped never to find out who had the longer battery life.
Wimbledon, in my view, more than the other tournaments, seems to have the most exciting matches of the year. I can't wait to see how the brackets progress this year.
1Oh my god, I'm so excited. Tennis is the only sport I follow, so I can't wait to see how it all goes down. I'm rooting for Djokovic to win, if not then I guess Federer is ok too since there's no Nadal
(( won't be the same without him...
2of course!
looking forward to federer winning his 15 GS:)
3Mmm...probably won't be watching it intentionally. Maybe just the highlights to find out who wins.
But I LOVE Serena's shirt in this pic!
4Wimbledon is one of the highlights of my sports year! Breakfast at Wimbledon is a family tradition. Can't wait!
