Why yes, of course, I want a flat washboard belly in just weeks. Who doesn't? The problem is this $15 Ab Circle is not the way to make it happen. This foldable ab machine promises to target your entire core with its fun, swiveling, circular motion. It combines cardio and core work, and all it takes is three minutes a day, and "in just a few weeks — not months — you'll firm and flatten your stomach. We guarantee it."
Well I'm happy they got the part right that you need cardio in order to get rid of the layer of fat covering your abs, but what they got wrong is how much cardio a person will need in order to make it happen. Three minutes a day isn't going to do much. The Ab Circle is a total scam, and hopefully those looking to whittle their middle won't fall for it.
If you want a flat and toned stomach, work on getting at least 30 minutes of cardio a day. You can also follow an ab routine like this one to tone up, so when the pounds of fat start to melt away, it'll reveal your toned abs.

don't believe it, never believed in ab exercises. You need the cardio to get rid of the fat.
1Sure, that sounds about right. Three minutes a day to fix years of bad nutrition and laziness.
2These commercials always make me and my sister laugh.
3thx for keeping it real Fit!
4I love the infomercials for these 3 minute a day workout gadgets. Most people probably do wish they could get flat abs that fast, but even if they DO help you define your midsection, you aren't going to see it if there's a big layer of fat over it.
5Lol, I love all the little letters throughout the video. Like "time for desired results may vary" and "results not typical. Beth ate a reduced calorie diet..."... Shouldn't they be showing the "typical" results then? What a scam!
6Well, after the last Fitsugar article, cardio doesn't help burn fat either, few calories does, so everyone is wrong.
7Man, that looks extremely uncomfortable.
And anything that promises weight loss in just 3 minutes should be banned from TV. There IS no easy way.
8My goodness Fit, thanks for uncovering the truth! What arcane information this is!
9Never underestimate the stupidity of the American people. They want quick fixes for everything. How do you think Obama got elected?
10we just bought that, waiting for it to arrive
:(
what if you don't have much fat though? It will show your abs then won't it, because you don't have to lose fat first? I got my genes from my mum, we're both little (short) and petite people regardless of what we eat, and we will both be using it
11and wow seal76, that is a very negative thing to say without any reasoning or supportive arguments...
12Just my opinion. However if we are just discussing this new gadget anyone should know that spot reducing is BS. As for Obama his actions past and present do not sit well with me. FDR tried the same things and they didn't work. Why do it again?
13Almost every gadget that comes on the market makes outrageous claims. The celeb advertising it probably doesn't use it. Don't they have personal trainers? There is no substitute for hard work. I am a former US Navy SEAL. Running, swimming, bodyweight exercises are what we did in BUDS training. Granted we did it all day, every day but they worked. Guys who were overweight lost weight, skinny guys either stayed skinny but got stronger and the rest gained muscle and strenght. And we also gained cardio fitness. I wouldn't think that any of us have the time or inclination to do that now but a doing all of these in moderation on a regualar basis will help you reach your goals. You might need a pullup/chinup bar and maybe a dipping station but that is it for equipment. Check out Stew Smith's programs. He is a former SEAL and knows his stuff when it comes to fitness. Most of the gadgets that I have seen on TV I have seen in the trash on trash day or at yard sales. I think that speaks for itself. If you have to use equipment get a good sturdy bench and some dumbells. They work well. Do some running or walking and set realistic goals. We can't all look like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolet. Genetics do have something to do with it. And don't eat or drink crappy stuff full of sugar and carbs.
14lol I don't think they make equipment for ex seals, you guys don't need it obviously! They're not all bad though even if they have very fake ads, I have had success (which for me doesn't mean losing weight since I don't have any anyway) on some
15I must say... I bought the ab circle and was very leary. I have been using it for a week straight and no - I haven't lost weight but - i AM seeing and feeling results in my biceps, triceps, buns and abs. I used to train (with a trainer) every day and was totally toned. After 2 years of minmal (bare minimal) exercising (does vacuuming count LOL) I am starting to see results in my arms.. I do believe it has to do with muscle memory. And NO , i don't do 3 mintues. I start at 3 minutes, then do 4 sets of 20 reps of the hip, thigh portion, and then another 3 minutes. And then I do the bicep swivel too. I forgot to say I start and end with 20 pushups on the machine so all in all I am giving myself a 30 minute workout. Better than nothing. And with this huge red disk sitting in the middle of my living room, it's hard to forget to use it. I will report back to you after another 2 weeks and give my results.
16BTW, that anonymous post was be me... freeze17
17has anyone out there had any good results by using this ab circle, and how long do you really have to work out?
