Leah Remini is one funny lady. It was no joke, however, that even she could not escape the trials and tribulations of major weight gain for a pregnancy.

AOL reports that she lost the weight with a lot of exercise and a specialized diet plan.
TV star Leah Remini has been vocal about the 80 pounds she gained when she was pregnant with her daughter Sofia and the struggle to lose weight. Leah has said she would eat an entire box of mac and cheese at once, and make regular trips to KFC and McDonald's. In addition to exercising with a personal trainer five times a week, Leah lost weight with the help of the First Personal Diet, which is a diet determined by an individual's metabolism.

She really did a great job losing the weight. And whats most important is that she didnt rush herself and she is not stick thing. Good for her!
1I love Leah! She is so cute, and I love that she was honest that it was difficult for her to loose the weight.
2She must have incredible willpower to bring herself back to looking like a million bucks. She didn't look ugly either with the baby weight. I remember watching her on Saved By The Bell the summer vacation series
3Whole boxes of mac and cheese? Good lord! You couldn't tell from looking at her now.
4She looks great. I watched that show on VH1 when she was pregnant and she was really funny. I will miss her on King Of Queens.
5So eating a whole box of Mac and Cheese isn't normal? Uh ohhh
6I am so guilty of eating an entire box of Mac & Cheese at once.
7She looks great! I miss her on The King of Queens too!

popularsugar - I totally remember her when she was on Saved By The Bell!
9Not eating an entire box of mac and cheese is like eating one potato chip,or just one single poptart, it's impossible
10She looks good!
1180 pound weight gain! That is scary, I am sure that she was at high risk for gestational diabetes. I hope that she has completely cut back on the mac and cheese and fast food. Those foods consist of way too much trans fat and saturated fat. She looks amazing.
12I love Leah! And I love The King of Queens. And I miss it. Thank God for dvds.
I remember when Leah was on the Who's The Boss spinoff, Living Dolls with Halle Berry. They played models, a la the Ford Agency, like when Eileen Ford the head of Ford models had girls living together when they first came to NY to model back in the day. That's basically what that show was. It was a comedy, with Leah, Halle, and two other girls (Alison Elliott and this other actress). Michael Learnerd (sp?) who previously played the mom on The Waltons was the Eileen Ford character and they lived with her and her teenage son (he's an actor David - ugh, forgot his last name -who was recently engaged to Kerry Washington). And it was about their lives, being models and living in the city. It was a comedy and I even have some episodes taped. lol Of course, it didn't last long. Her character was on an couple eps of Who's the Boss, and she played Samantha's (Alyssa Milano's old school friend) and they were shooting some kind of commercial at the house, and they needed a stand-in and they used Leah as the stand-in and they "discovered" that she would make a good model. I can so clearly see that scene in my head. Goodness, can't believe I remembered all of that by heart. LOL It almost makes me want to dig around and pull out the tapes. Almost.
13I meant to write, "she played Samantha's (Alyssa Milano) old school friend". I actually forgot what her character's name was though. Yea, that I can't remember.
14Love Leah...Love that she made it "okay" to gain weight while preggers, and to lose it all in a reasonable amount of time. I am so tired of these pregnant robots that snap back into their pre-preganacy size zero within 2 weeks of giving birth!
Good for her!
15I am so glad to read other people have eaten entire boxes of mac and cheese. I don't allow myself to do it nowadays but I definitely did that at least once a week for a long, long, long time. Until my metabolism slowed down and it all caught up with me.
