Bear Naked Fit Granola is a staple in my house, along with other cereals, since I like to mix cereals to reap the nutritional benefits of them all. So when I heard this company was making two new varieties of cereal — Banana Nut and Cranberry Raisin— I had to try them.

To find out what I thought and see how much fiber each serving contains read more.

Both flavors have satisfyingly thick flakes made from wheat and rice that taste hearty with a hint of sweetness. You see those little oat clusters? They add a nice crunchy texture that compliments the soft dried fruit. The Banana Nut cereal contains tons of sweetened banana chips, dried apples, and walnuts. The Cranberry Raisin cereal is full of raisins, sunflower seeds, cranberries, pepitas, and also has dried apples.
I can't really say which is my favorite, since they're both so full of bold flavor and texture. I was surprised that they both have eight grams or less of sugar per serving because the flakes taste so very sweet. I love how this cereal is high in fiber and protein, but low in calories and sodium. It's set to hit stores in mid to late June, so definitely look for it. Each 12.5 ounce bag costs $4.49. Since the ingredients are 100 percent natural, and the taste is 100 percent delicious, it's definitely worth it.

They cost a damn fortune for the equivalent of like 2 bowls of cereal. But yes they are tasty.
1I just keep various nuts and berries and add them to plain cereals. Then I can have something different every morning instead of buying overpriced products like this.
2Yep I agree, way overpriced.
3I swear this stuff will be the death of me. "Recommended serving size" totally goes out the window whenever I'm near a bag of Bare Naked...ughhhhh!!
4Wow, are these expensive! You know, there really is some truth to the whole thing of healthy foods being expensive, especially cereals. I mean, unless you go for plain oatmeal, all the granolas and Kashi brands are pretty expensive compared to the more sugary varieties.
5I live in Manhattan and cereal is regularly $6+ a box, for crap like Frosted Flakes!!! i moved a little over a month ago and have a Whole Food near me and have finally found affordable cereal -- their 365 brand raisin bran for $2-$3, I'm so happy!
6cute name and packaging. would pick it up if not too expensive.
7I don't buy commercial cereals very often because they're so expensive. Granola is way cheaper if you make it yourself and you can control the ingredients you put in it. I'm glad this stuff is delicious and healthy, but I probably won't be buying it.
8good idea for a healthy cereal but if it's more 'natural' to make why is it so much more expensive than other cereals that have tons of sodium and high fructose sugar that cost more to make??
i do buy the bare naked granola and add it to plain yogurt = it makes it last longer which i get more use from it for the price
9Tooooo pricey.
10I love their products! They are pricey but you can submit the bags for a free t-shirt or bag etc...
11These are made by Kellogg's now, just in case you didn't know. You probably shouldn't eat them if you plan to practice what you learned from watching Food, Inc., because (duh!) Kellogg's is a huge freaking company just out to get your money.
