I'll admit that I'm a bit of a germaphobe. OK, I'm a huge germaphobe. That's because I know some people are not as hygienic as they should be. You may think certain germs are more disgusting than others though, so tell me . . .

Ewwwwwwww, I think I'd pass on either if it came down to it, but the bathroom grosses me out just a little bit more.
1Both of these are really GROSS and I wouldn't touch anyone's hand in either. But it's less likely that you'll know if somebody hasn't washed their hands after using the restroom if you weren't in there with them.
Also, somebody who's *just* sneezed in their hand usually offers their other (hopefully cleaner!) hand or will understand if you don't want to touch their hands. People who come out of the bathroom and don't wash their hands probably aren't going to make that known. I'd have to go with the second being worse, but only by a VERY close margin.
Either way, use sanitizer afterward or don't touch your face! Ick.
2Shaking hands is such an icky custom.
3the sneezing one has a much higher potential for transmitting germs or infectious disease, that's why I picked it.
4Both so gross.
5Eh, germs are germs...just wash your own hands afterwards and you'll be fine. However, given the choice, I'd rather come in contact with a little spit on someone's hands than potentially getting fecal matter on my hands, so I guess I'd rather shake hands with the sneezer.
6yuck, how about both situations!!
7how about neither. Especially the toilet. I never use the toilet papers in public bathrooms.
8both !!
9Over the past year I have become the biggest germaphobe to the point I gag walking into public restrooms. My bf loves to make fun of me for it too. Arg.
10The sneezer seems worse to me. Someone who just sneezed in their hands definitely has germs through direct transmission but if someone goes the bathroom, unless they are wiping their ass with their hand, there is at least a toilet paper barrier that might prevent some germs. I dont typically get anything on my hand from wiping so I like to think that most people arent walking around with fecal matter on their hands. What I dont know cant kill me right?
11Ughhh! I seriously am getting queasy while trying to decide..... I can't pick one. Some people are so disgusting..... About two weeks ago I was standing in line at Mongolian Bbq and this woman like a foot or two behind me sneezed INTO. MY. HAIR. There I was with my bowl of uncooked food in my hands getting ready to give them to the grill guys and the woman sneezes so hard she sprays the back of my neck and my hair gets pushed forward with the force of it. I was so disgusted I could have slapped her. What angered me more is when I turned around give her a dirty look, she didn't even have anything in her hands! Her husband was holding her bowl for her. SO gross. I left without eating and went home to took a shower.
