which is why I eat my cals rather than drink them... although I do cave for coffee
1Same here -- I prefer to eat my calories than drink them. It's more satisfying.
That's why my summer beverage of choice is unsweetened, berry ice tea.
2I have to say, I really like juice. If it's 100% juice, I see no wrong drinking it. Better that than zero calorie diet sodas that have lots of additives in it.
3What is great for the summer months is seltzer water (you can find some brands with 0 sodium) with lemon or cut fresh fruit and put in a jug of ice water. Try lime, lemon, orange, strawberries, pears, pineapple, watermelon--anything you can think of. Let it chill for a few hours before serving.
