I was a vegetarian for about 4 years before reassessing my diet in January. I was one of those people who were vegetarians, but not in the healthiest way. My diet lacked low-fat protein
because I didn't eat enough soy, wheat, beans, etc., and loaded up on cheese. I decided to cut out most all dairy and processed carbs. I added fish a few times a week along with whole grains
and beans, and think I finally found the diet that makes me happy and healthy for life.

I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat fish, but otherwise, my diet is almost exactly like the mediterranean diet.
1I'd say 85% yes. I feel so much better now that I've made an active effort to eat more natural, not processed, and organic foods.

3I eat a mostly raw food diet now, with fish once in awhile and healthy oils. Very similar to this diet.
