You can up your intake of omega-3 fatty acids at breakfast. Nature's Path, makers of Organic Flax Plus cereal, just came out with a new flavor: Red Berry Crunch. The recommended daily intake of omega-3s is 1.1 grams, and this cereal offers .5 grams per 3/4 cup serving. Not too shabby. How does this cereal taste though? To find out read more.

This cereal has satisfyingly thick flakes that taste hearty with a hint of sweet berry. The freeze-dried strawberries and raspberries scattered throughout have an airy texture (as you'd expect), but a strong flavor. I also found clusters of oats and puffed rice that were touched with a hint of cinnamon. Overall, when you enjoy all three together, it is subtly sweet and wholesome, and I enjoyed the crispy crunch. The only thing I missed were nuts. As you can see from the nutritional info, this cereal is a good source of fiber and protein. I have to be honest though, I prefer the flavor of Organic Flax Plus — Pumpkin Raisin Crunch. |

I love Special K Red Berries, so I'd probably really like this stuff, especially since it has nice thick flakes. Sounds pretty yummy to me. I'll have to look for it and see if my grocery store has it.
1I LOVE LOVE LOVE this cereal but i can only find it at health food stores and i only have one around me. So i usually by them out and have to wait MONTHS until they restock
.
2I hardly ever eat cereal, but every once in awhile, I cave. When I do, this is my go-to. I love, love, love to munch on it while sitting in the sun or cuddling on the couch and watching a chick-flick.
3I've ate Organic Flax Plus Multibran cereal for a very long time.I have had a hard time finding it so I buy six or eight boxes at a time. I eat over a box a week. It's good for me taste good and doesn't get soggy in milk. Now my problem I can't find it any more. I've been driving a ways to buy it at a Walmart they now carry it with pumpkin but not plain.I've searched every store around. Please help me locate a store that still carrys this cereal. I live in LaFayette GA and I have been going to Fort Oglethorpe GA to buy it in the pass. Thank You Annette
