Yeah, I don't frequent Micky Dees too much, but it's nice to know there are some options that don't exceed my daily caloric intake in just one sitting!

I guess as long as it's low-calorie it MUST be healthy Riiiiiight??? Never mind the sodium, fat, cholesterol, transfats, preservatives... oy!

Not cool, FitSugar. I expect something like this from a ladymag.

She's not saying they're healthy. She's saying that if you must stop and get something for whatever reason, at these won't break the caloric bank.

Really?! It's so NOT about just calories. This is not food. Ultimately, this food will harm you. It's about quality. Please do not promote McD's Fit. This is disappointing.

I actually like the fruit and yogurt parfaits. If everyone's stopping at McD's, I still have something I can snack on, it has things in it that are legitimately good for me and it tastes good. Works for me.

i can understand the need to know this information if you're truly in a huge pinch and somebody else keeps insisting on eating there, but i honestly think i'd rather go without, and just wait to find a meal somewhere else.

I don't eat McDonalds either.. but I was interested b/c my boyfriend is always trying to get me to get a Snack Wrap from there..

    http://nutrition.mcdonalds.com/nutritionexchange/nutrition_exchanges.htm...

Snack Wraps are 260 - 270 calories if you get the Grilled Chicken!

Has anyone ever tried that?? I just can't bring myself to eat McD's but.. maybe I'm being too picky?

McDonalds is like having that cigarette when I go out drinking with my friends; I know it's bad for me, but at the moment, it's great and reminds me of earlier times (childhood for MickeyD, art school for smokes) and I feel worse the next day. I've still haven't found anything that hits the spot like a sausage mcmuffin and hash brown.

Actually, McDonald's is not that bad. You have to know what you're ordering.

Yesterday, I had their classic chicken sandwich (with grilled chicken), and a side of green salad. The sandwich only has bread, lettuce, tomato, and a piece of grilled chicken breast (I scraped off the mayo). With the side of green salad, it made for a nutritious, tasty meal. The price point was good, too.

In my opinion, McDonald's does have some healthy options in their menu.

You MUST be getting paid to post ANYTHING positive relating to McDonalds. I don't care where you are, there is always a better option. Nuts from a gas station or a nutri-grain bar (also not great) is something easy to find at any mini-mart. NO one ever HAS to eat at McD's. Please don't post things that support a place that is killing people slowly and willfully.

I used to eat at McDonalds but since i'm changing my eating habits and trying to stick with my workout regime i don't anymore. If for any reason i decide to go there i usually get coffee, something for my son and BF. I did try the grilled chicken ranch wrap and it was good.

Just because something is low calorie does not mean it is healthy. I would rather have something higher calorie, as long as the calories are not from fat! For example, the friench fries are not a good choice. Have the hamburger or nuggets and a side salad with low fat dressing, but if you are hungry and looking for a quick fix, don't just order yourself a small fries because it is "low cal"

Some people like an occasional stop at McDonalds and it's good to know which choices are preferable in terms of calories. It is possible to be a heathy person and still enjoy an occasional nugget, my god.

Move to the next posting if it offends you.

Can everyone who complain about McD is hardly healthy blablabla yadayadayada shut up? The whole damn point of the article is CALORIES. I have moments when I feel like eating McDonalds, and FitSugar highlights to me what to eat if I don't want to break my calorie bank for the day. You people don't understand the whole idea. Not everyone eats like you do, and this world doesn't need food snobs lurking around a perfectly good article just because (surprise, surprise) low calorie doesn't mean healthy. Do you seriously think FitSugar is that stupid? Get over yourselves!
