I'm just a dumbells kind of a girl. I tried resistance bands, and I don't like them since the resistance is pretty inconsistant depending on how far the bands have to stretch for the exercise.
1No equipment necessary.
2I use it all, resistence bands, dumbbells, barbells, machines, and I love it all. I think the free weights of dumbbells and barbells are my favorite.
3I try to incorporate everything into my strength training routine but if I have to pick a favorite, I would say no equipment because it's easy enough to do some squats, push ups and crunches pretty much anywhere.
4I prefer either dumbells or moves that require my own body weight.
5all of the above, depending on the muscles!
6A combination of dumbells, resistance band and weight machines.
7I love resistance bands. something about them... just love em!
8dumbbells, but I use much bigger ones than that chick.
9I LOVE LOVE LOVE kettlebells because it's explosive energy and also double-times as cardio so my heartrate really gets up there.
10A combination of free weights and machines. I have an aversion to resistance bands because I have had one snap on me before and it REALLY hurt.
11Free weights.
12resistance bands, weights and using my own body weight
13I use resistance bands because I'm too broke to add dumbbells to my home gym now.
14Interval classes at the gym!
15Some days I use my own body weight while other days I use a weight machine & bench. I don't really "prefer" one over the other - it's just nice to switch it up. I mainly use dumbbells when circuit training.
16Weight machines at the gym. Then comes no equipment and then dumbbells. I have yet to try resistance bands and kettleballs actually... I don't know where to get them, since I'm residing in Lebanon currently.
17I haven't had the opportunity to use kettle balls, but I would give them a shot.
I generally use dumb bells at home with my DVDs or do random exercises throughout the day like tricep dips in my chair, or doing reps of lifting groceries.
When I'm at the gym I use the machines.
18love love love dumb bells and my own weight--it's been working for years so why switch?
19We should be using everything and loving. Does the outside count as a favorite? I teach a sports conditioning class in Central Park which I enjoy. Sometimes we use superbands. Fun Stuff.
20i use every technique but kettle balls and bands.
21resistance bands are s struggle for me, i always lose my balance
it's LOL all around, but I did buy myself a set to use at home... a year ago, it's still in its packaging
you know how Carrie said about Samantha in SATC that "she's one of the few people I know who thinks she's more beautiful by just being in proximity to beauty" - the same goes with me and fitness, as long as I have a HRM, resistance bands, dumbells and stuff lying around the house - i'm more fit
LOL...
22I use all of it-dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, weight machines, and my own bodyweight (pushups, pullups). I love the variety and the concept of muscle confusion. I can build muscle from so many different angles.
23No equipment! You can strength train anywhere - no excuses.
24rock climbing!
25Lately I've been using the assisted pull up machine at my gym to further my goal of doing an unassisted pull up! It's really strengthened my upper back!
Dumbbells are my second favorite.
Bands are my least favorite! I'm scared I'm going to hurt myself!
26I use the gravity machine! It's AMAZING!!
27dumbbells are cheaper i think, if you don't go to the gym that much.
28your own body as resistance is pretty good too
