Drinking enough water is so important to our health. Not only is staying hydrated good for our skin, it also promotes regularity and weight loss by keeping cells fully functional to stoke your metabolism. I need about 80 to 100 ounces a day, so I figured out a fun and tasty way to monitor my daily water intake.

I put eight to 10 dark chocolate-covered cranberries in a little dish on my desk. Every time I drink 10 ounces of agua, I treat myself to a chocolate morsel. It reminds me to consistently drink water throughout the day until the dish is empty. If chocolate doesn't inspire you, fill your dish with something else you enjoy like cashews, dried cherries, or yogurt-covered raisins.

That's cool, but I don't think that'd work for me personally. I just fill my water bottle up twice and make sure I drink it. Putting a slice of lemon in it makes it a little less of a pain for me, but I still don't love water.
1That's a nice trick but I don't need it I think I rather drink to much water! (btw that fit calculator doesn't work...)
2If you only need up to 100 ounces of water a day, then you shouldn't actually drink 80 to 100 ounces! All of the water in your foods and other beverages count toward the total! Coffee, soup, salad, veggies... all very significant sources of water.
3It's a decent idea but it probably wouldn't work for me.
4I love drinking water, so I don't need motivation. I'm like a fish -- I can't get enough water. Being well-hydrated makes for good skin and high energy (at least for me).

6Two of my friends at work just walked into my office and saw this post. One said, "what the heck is that?" The other said, "is that a rabbit litter box?"
Then I explained the concept, and all three of us are thinking of giving it a try. Good idea!

8Drinking water isn't a problem for me. I lurves my water.
9How do you keep from eating the chocolate when you're not supposed to? ( For those with no self control when it comes to chocolate...)

13This works with any treat! It gets you to up your water intake, it slows down the sweet intake, and it fills you up faster!

15Just watch your pee. If it's dark, you need more water. Clear urine is healthy urine.
