When I think of fit celebs, Jessica Biel definitely comes to mind. Her toned tush and defined arms are the reason she's won the title of Fitsugar's Fittest Female Celeb two years in a row. If you want to know how she maintains such a strong and feminine physique, her personal trainer Jason Walsh told People magazine about her workouts. Here's what he said:

- Stretch: Jessica warms up with walking lunges. Jason says, "This stretches the larger leg and glute muscles.”
- Cardio: She hits the track and jogs for half a mile, then does two 200-meter, 150-meter, and 100-meter sprints. This type of cardio interval training "leans her out," Jason says.
- Core: “Hanging leg raises don’t build a six-pack, but they flatten,” says Walsh. “Jessica hates them, but she powers through!”
To find out what else Jason Walsh had to say read more.
- Plyometrics: “These hurt,” says Walsh of stair jumping. “Even athletes hate them. After Jessica did these the first time, she would’ve punched me if she had the energy.”
- Weight Training: Jason says, “We tend to use lighter weights and do more reps. We keep moving, so it becomes a cardio workout, too.”
- Waist: Get ready for Seated Russian Twists. Jessica does them holding a five-pound medicine ball. Twist to each side 15 times, and do a total of three sets.
- Shoulders and biceps: Stand with knees slightly bent. Hold 10-pound dumbbells in each hand. Do a bicep curl and then rotate your hands hands so your palms face outward, and do a Twisting Dumbbell Press. Then reverse the move until you're back to the starting position. Complete three sets of 10 to 12 reps.
As for her diet, Jessica eats complex carbohydrates such as oatmeal and whole wheat toast with one tablespoon of almond butter in the morning. For dinner she enjoys fish, veggies, and basmati rice. She snacks on fruits like bananas, apples, and strawberries. She doesn't deny herself the foods she craves, and likes to treat herself at the end of the day with something sweet like a piece of dark chocolate.

She is so my celeb fitness role model.
1you know you've read this site for too long when you've read this article twice, at least
2her body is amazing... i completely agree with the fittest celebrity assessment. she has always seemed so healthy and inspiring, not starving or pretending to have muscle tone with stratigically placed self-tanner. i think it's about time i try these hanging leg raises... this is like the fourth time i've come across mention of them in the past several weeks.
3Hanging leg raises suuuuuuuck, metallicnymph. But in a good way.
4I'll probably get shot down for saying this, but I don't really think she has a very feminine physique. Fit and toned, yes. But feminine, I'm not so sure.
5I dunno, I think she's pretty feminine. She's definitely toned, but she's certainly hung onto her curves as well. I mean, I would definitely kill to have that butt.
6she's got an ideal body but it doesn't hurt that it is, more or less, her living and she does have quite a bit more time to spend working out than the average woman. if you don't end up looking like her, even with this fact sheet, don't get too down on yourself.
7i actually do think she's feminine. She's got a great body but still has a nice shapely look to her.
8I'd love to borrow her trainer for oh like a year probably haha
i think the thing about her career is that she has made it on the fact that she is the athletic female character. it is practically her job now to be supertoned and superbuff, and while she's got a fantastic body, it is a bit of one extreme. she's the go-to athletic actress.
9she looks great, but i think she'd look better if she was a bit more curvy and a bit less muscley. luckily she has biggish boobs to balance her out!
10Good for her, but I don't want her body...
11I second that ashleygaidhlig, I don't want her mannish bod either... curves FTW!
12she seems like a nice girl
13She looks like a man. I hope my future husband is in that good-a shape but as for me, I'll keep my soft, southern curves. The men I'm attracted to don't like hard-bodied women anyway.
14That is her body type that makes her look like that. Most people would have to take protein powder to build that much muscle.
15I love her body. She looks like an athlete which I love. She works hard on looking like that, her toned body is amazing - I wish I looked like that.
Athletes rule!
16I love how all y'all are critiquing her bod. She works hard, who cares if she has the time or more time than the average Jane? She still has to make the time to do it & eat well, which ain't easy as us women know. How far as feminism gotten us? She's gorgeous, sheesh! Leave it at that.
17She looks like a man.
18I agree Anonymous. It is amazing to me how women can be so critical of other women's bodies. We complain about the stick thin Hollywood standard but when someone breaks that and embraces their shape and is obviously very healthy, we are critical that they are too masculine. Who cares if you don't want to look like that. Until we can accept all types of womens bodies and celebrate that they are all different, we are no better than the ridiculous people in Hollywood who only want a very narrow and partciular body type.
19And aside from all of that, it is nice to see a female celebrity who isn't afraid to workout hard. She is an actress but also an athlete and she is obviously comfortable in her own skin. Good for her for not being anorexic and being a good role model for girls in terms of body image.
She looks awesome. I'm going to have to try some of these!
20well said kclulu! i agree she has an amazing body and i would kill to look like that...well try and kill my body to look like that if i had the time.
or the energy.
21My cousin and I have added a few of these moves to our workouts. The hanging leg curls are definitely going to be an addition.
Jessica Biel has an awesome body.
22Oh Lord, here come the PC police... there's always one of them in the comments page
kclulu, we have a right to not like her body/not want to look like her if we want, just as you have a right to worship her linebacker shoulders. And by rejecting the people that adhere to that "stick skinny standard in Hollywood", aren't you yourself being intolerant and "ridiculous"? I'm not speaking for anyone else, but I never said anything about criticizing the anorexics of Hollywood, be they skeletor or not. Personally, I would love to have Jennifer Aniston's body. She is toned and yet still manages to be feminine. Don't crack on me just because I don't have the same opinions as you do.
Lastly, OF COURSE people are going to comment on her body, that's the point of this whole website! If you don't want to read differing viewpoints, I suggest you go do a bunch of leg raises and lunges like your work out guru Jessica Biel.
Wow, that was quite a rant... lol
I think I need
to eat something and calm down...
23people that say she looks like a man must be very confused.
24I think maybe you do need to calm down a little bit!
I am not promoting that we can't have preferences, but why make catty remarks about if we don't personally like someones body type? I just don't think it is neccesary. If you are reading this and have a similar body type as Jessica Beal and you hear these negative comments, that might make you feel self concious about yourself and women already do enough of that self critical thing.
What I believe this website is about is promoting healthy lifestyles, not being super critical of other people's bodies. What I am rejecting is one narrow view of what is attractive (the stereotypical stick thin type), which I do not believe is at all intolerant or ridiculous. You may have the right and the ability to call someone mannish if you so chose but I will also speak up about how uneccesary and unhealthy I feel comments like that are.
25she has the hottest celeb body imo...I am adding the Russian Twists to my daily routine which is brief but good for me...I stretch for like 10, then about 40 (4 of 10) slow squats using 6 lb weights, 30 walking lunges (3 of 10), 30 slooow side twists with the weights, 40 calf raises, tricep curls (don't count), 100 crunches (5 sets of 20) and then I finish with 45 to 60 jumping jacks...hey, I'm trying and I don't have to go outside to do it lol
26I just have to say that I have a very similar body type to Jessica's-- I can't be exactly sure that our work-out routines are the same, but I happen to develop muscle VERY easily, and no matter how many reps with light weights, I still tend to bulk up. I have the choice of either being smaller and flabby, or bigger and muscular/toned. I have chosen the latter, because I feel healthier and happier that way
Every woman is different!
27i think its great that she represents a buff body for variety BUT
28i wouldnt want her body...to masculine plus so many more celebs (& people I know) have better butts than her imo
i agree with ashleygaidhlig and lattegoodness. good for her. but not my "ideal" body. and that is not what i think of when i think "feminine".
29i prefer something leaner, and perhaps daintier. i really like alba, or aniston.
I love Jessica's bod. She's muscular but still has boobs and a booty, so I think that makes her feminine. She's definitely one of my favorite celeb bods.
30She is definitely fit...I heard she was a gymnast when she was young which shows. Good for her, her though is another matter, she is hit or miss on the red carpet most of the time.

At the end is a YouTube video about her workout for the movie, I thought Fit was going to talk about this!
31AWESOME fitness role model right there.
32i think it's too much : the workout and the diet .. she's supposed to be an actress not an athlete
33This has been posted before. lol Her workout seems intense.
There is no question, the girl is really fit. She has a great body. But that is not the look for me. I think that her arms are too muscular. She has nice body but her body is not my ideal body.
I would prefer someone like Jennifer Aniston or Jessica Alba. They have nice lean bodies and they still have their feminine curves.
34Great bod! I would lovee to workout with her!
35Great bod! I would lovee to workout with her!
36I love her body! I'd love to have it!
37Her body looks fit and great for her but not for me. I want to be fit and healthy sans the manly ripped muscles. I like to have leaner tummy though. I read some nice tips on www.female-workout.com. You guys should check it out too.
