Yes, among other vitamins.
I try to take a multi every other day, because I've heard that it can actually be worse for you if you get TOO many vitamins from a pill like that... not sure how accurate that is though.
i don't take supplements or multi-vitamins at all, so i couldn't answer this question. i get my vitamins and minerals from eating a well-balanced diet.
Where's the option "(just) NO"? I don't take any kind of supplement.
Vitamins make me throw up (even without the iron) so I don't take any. I figure I'm just flushing money down the toilet.
I used to take them all the time, but now I only take them when I really need them (i.e. Vitamin C when I've been around a sick person, or echinacea and goldenseal during vitamin season, and iron during my period), but otherwise, I tend to let off this weird vitaminy smell, and it makes me self-conscious
I chose "religiously every day" but I take them every other day, as well. I still take Flintstone vitamins, too! haha
i haven't remembered to take one in months -- this post just reminded me to take one now!
multis give me incredible migraines, so i usually just take certain supplements individually (like calcium).
I also take Flintstones! I had an orange Betty this morning.
no supplements, ever. where was that answer choice?
yes - liquid vitamins and minerals - everyday.
Multivitamin pills upset my stomach. I sometimes buy Emergen-C drink powder (the kind with glucosamine, for my knees), but often go months between buying supplies of that. I eat well and trust I'm getting more or less what I need.
My husband has a sensitive stomach so I still buy him the Flintstones...
I am vegan so I take a multivitamin for vegans.
I take other supplements
Yes, I take a liquid multi-vitamin by (I think...) Nature's Source (or Source of Life.)
I take exactly 1/2 a tablet of a women's mulitvitamin every single day (it's only half because a whole one really unsettles my stomach, even with milk and food). I count on my regular diet for the rest of the vitamins I get.
I credit my vitamin with keeping me generally healthy. I get the occasional mild cold and cough, but I haven't had anything really serious (besides food poisoning) in a long while since I started taking them when I was young.
I take magnesium, because I used to drink a lot of mineral water and now I don't have access to it anymore and I started getting cramps. I also take omega-3s (fish oil), but not actually any vitamins (hasn't it been shown a few times that they don't really work?).
I take a multi usually three to four times a week( when I remember) along with a biotin, Omega 3, and magnesium
I get enough of most nutrients in my diet, but to cover my bases, I do take a multivitamin, calcium supplement, and fish oil every day.
To the people that take one every other day: You're better off cutting one in half and taking half a vitamin per day, otherwise you don't get the full effect of the water-soluble vitamins on your off days (vitamin B complex, vitamin C, etc.).
I take a multi and fish oil every day and I try my best to eat a balanced diet. I have read that taking children's vitamins is best.
I take a Centrum multivitamin daily
I write absolutely everything I eat in fitday and there is a way to see the nutrition and I was horrified to see that even I thought that I was eating very healthy there were way too many vitamins not in the right amount, and same case with magnese or pottasium, some other days it was calcium or vitamin A what was lacking, so I take a multivitamin every day, that really nail my daily requirements.
Why would I want to make my pee expensive ?? Honestly, I would rather maintain my healthy diet than pop a pill every day and expect it to keep me healthy.
I am fitter and healthier now since I stopped eating a bad diet and expecting a multi vit to save me.
I take a bunch of supplements every day for treatment for my fibro and complicated migraines. I will have to admit that when I get cuts, I heal almost as fast a wolverine, LOL. Well, not that fast, but it heals within 2 days.
