We all wish there was a cure for breast cancer since almost 200,000 woman are diagnosed with it each year. Wouldn't it be great if the cure was as easy as getting dressed in the morning? That's the notion behind the Brassage — a bra that massages your lymph nodes while you wear it. It's based on the patented LETflow Technology, a design by chiropractor Dr. Jayson Sher, which involves bumpy side panels on the bra that massage the lymph nodes. This "enhances the body's natural breast cleansing flow" and releases toxins, thereby making the breast tissue healthy. Christina Erteszek (daughter of famous lingerie designer Olga) loved the idea so much that she started manufacturing the Brassage. She claims it's not a cure-all for breast cancer, but it "helps relieve possible infection and disease." Hmm. While we all wish this bra was the answer, there's absolutely no medical research to back up the fact that massaging toxins out of our breasts will prevent breast cancer.

It's wrong to suggest to women that something could help prevent such a serious and life-threatening condition such as breast cancer. Thankfully though, now that some light has been shed on the Brassage and it's non-medical claims, Intimate Health has stopped manufacturing it.

That's a real article and I still call April Fools' on it.
1They'll capitalize on anything, wont they?
2So where are the $60 briefs that massage the testicles to prevent testicular cancer? Good Lord, people market the stupidest things these days.
3I saw this on the tv while on the elliptical at the gym the other morning and could barely stop snorting. Yeah, right. I'll get one for my mother, oh WAIT, she's had a mastectomy after having breast cancer twice, TOO LATE FOR HER.
4that's actually insulting to anyone who has been touched by this disease. agree with missyd...pathetic to capitalize on something like this.
5That is the biggest amount of BS ever.
6I'd like to see the "research" behind the claim.
Bahahahaha, that interview is hilarious...
7CHIROPRACTORS ARE NOT DOCTORS
and here is yet another example of why.
But this is an April Fool's joke right? people aren't actually this stupid..
8it's like phrenology
9does it come with matching, massaging panties...?
10I would actually buy the massaging panties, but not because they prevented cancer
11Also, that interview is awesome.
12This is an emotional issue so we need to expect emotional responses. The best thing to do is educate ourselves. #1 Get rid of the myths. #2 Recognize bias. #3 Search for the truth. Fact: blood/lymph does carry toxins. This can be eliminated a number of ways (beyond just wearing this bra). It is only one factor in breast health. I am not opposed to wearing this bra. Should I wear the bra & forget about other factors like good nutrition, sleep, and moderate exercise? No. But, I am open minded & display a healthy attitude on this issue.
13hahahahahaha
14"helps relieve possible infection and disease." like what? i'd like to know it sounds like breasts have the flu or have open sores. IF its possible
15Why didn't they just say "lymph congestion?" I am not saying I'm sold on this, just saying I understand where they are coming from re: lymph stagnation. Also, it's obvious the reporter is putting words in her mouth & it was biased from the beginning. Still, I agree it raises an eyebrow until proven.
