One of my favorite go-to snacks is apples and peanut butter, or ants on a log, but a serving of peanut butter (two tablespoons) contains 180 calories. So if you're watching your calorie intake, here's a way to enjoy that creamy, nutty taste without all the calories. It's made with nonfat Greek yogurt so it's creamy, low in fat, full of protein, and I swear it tastes like peanut butter ice cream!

To find out how to make this creamy peanut butter dip read more.
- Take one 5.3-ounce container of nonfat Oikos Greek Vanilla yogurt.
- Mix in two tbsp. peanut butter (I prefer crunchy), 1/2 tbsp. honey, and 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Serve with slices of apple, banana, and pear. Store unused portion in the fridge.

Makes four, two-tbsp. servings. Each serving contains 80.5 calories, 3.75 grams of fat, .5 grams of saturated fat, .75 grams of fiber, and 5.5 grams of protein.

this sounds AWESOME!
1This will be a nice alternative to my constant peanut butter cravings that I am having with this pregnancy!
2Mmmm that looks delicious. Hope it tastes as good as it sounds. I love me my peanut butter, but it's so high in calories! So this makes a good alternative when mixing with a snack.
3Yum.
4great tip! thanks!!!
5sounds WAY yum!
6Oh my god, that looks delicious! I am going to try that with almond butter. Perfect for my greek yogurt fixation.
7Totally what I was thinking, Soniabonya, about PB being high in calories. This is a great alternative.
8Very interesting. May have to try this. I am *defintely* not telling my husband about the "nonfat greek vanilla yogurt," though. He'd never even give it a shot. (Or does that mean more for me?)
9Great idea Fit. I'm totally making this!
10Oh man, I want to make it. Insanely easy too!
11looks good but i cant imagine yogurt with peanut butter :S

14I made this, you have just changed my life Fit!
15ps. love the plate, I have the matching dipping bowls.
Hmm...I mix salsa with plain nonfat yogurt to make a nice savory dip for my celery. I love celery and PB too, so I am definitely going to try this recipe!
16YUM!!! Sounds delicious. I might try that out with almond butter also.
17Any ideas for a vegan version? I can't think of anything off of the top of my head to blend with the peanut butter instead of yogurt 0_0
18Kyko - Great question. Just use soy yogurt instead of Greek yogurt. It'll be just as delish.
19will definitely try this!
20Two of my favorite things mixed together? Can't wait to try it!
21I just made this - so amazing!!
22Just tried this snack out! I didn't have honey so I had to skip that ingredient. The cinnamon is really important, so definitely don't leave that out. It was a delicious though. Only problem is, I usually only eat 1/2 an apple with some peanut butter... but I found myself devouring the whole apple with this stuff.. not that a whole apple is bad! But I'm not sure if it means I ate the same amount of peanut butter as usual
A new favorite though!
23Just made the dip with honey a couple of days ago.. what a difference! I enjoyed it both ways, but definitely recommend getting all of the ingredients in there if you can.
24Ooooooh, this sounds so tasty!
25I just made this and ate it on a piece of toast - so yummy!!! I love the creamy texture and it is guilt free!
26Oh yum I can't wait to try this tonight!
27i just made this and it is delicious!!
