Radishes
Wonderfully crunchy, radishes are a great low-cal food — only
19 calories per cup, offering two grams of fiber as well. One cup also provides 30 mg of calcium, and they can help relieve
constipation. I like to snack on radishes, especially on hot days since they are a
cooling food. They also make a nice addition to almost any salad, like this
herbed lamb steak salad.
