I grew up playing soccer and realized it is time to introduce my girly-girl to the sport. I was just thinking about soccer this weekend, I am not very versed in the sport but I know my boyfriend used to play it in school and I think it would be good for us to take it up.
1i would have hated this when i was playing (4 to 23 quit when moved to FL) but my sister would have loved it! she even had pink walls and carpet in her room when we were kids!
2I bought my sis a real cute one from Wuilson that is a light girly pink with white polka dota on some of the sections. it was 12.99 from target. she loves it haha. and she is a girly girl, so perfecto.
3Isn't it awesome that there's such a good girly sports selection now? When we were kids, it was all basic black or blue. My daughter has addidas cleats with pink accents, a rainbow of soccer balls, socks, shorts, etc. I think it really helps to support what we're working so hard to teach her, which is that bruises and sweaty headbands are just as adorable as tiny tiaras and crinoline skirts.
4My daughter just started playing soccer this year, and for those interested, Dick's has a great soccer package deal right now (I don't know if it's a special or a regular thing). We got cleats, shin guards, socks, and a ball (all Adidas) for $39.95. Of course she picked out all pink!!!
5Great idea! I personally love the color, but I think if it came in blue, my husband would be all over it.
