Getting a massage is a luxury. But when you are training for something: a marathon, a triathalon, a wedding - massages should be part of the regimen. Plus a massage is a great way to relax tense muscles caused by everyday stress.
I really do wish getting a massage didn't seem like a luxurious indulgence. A massaged body is a much happier body.
So, I want to know...

Christian Louboutin
Casual Club
Flip*Flop
Can't even remember... :|
1last month, only because i had a gift certificate. that was only my second massage ever, and the next one will probably be WAY far in the future.
2I think I need a massage...
3I hate massages. I don't like other people touching my body and I have really sensitive skin. I've had a few because I keep telling myself I SHOULD like it, but I never do. I'm over it!!
4I would loooove a massage. I try to do my own shoulders but it's just not the same. I can FEEL huge knots in them. But The Man is...not so great at it. He tickles my back every night and he's wonderful at that...just not massages.
5i'm sooo due for a massage!
6I had one last month that was preceded by an hour in an outdoor hot tub (with optional cold plunge in a nearby tub) at a Japanese inspired mineral spa here in the mountains of Western North Carollina. When it was time for the massage, most of my knots were already loose. For those who haven't ever had a good rubdown, you need to treat yourself. It's good for your body and your mind...
7Yesterday! It was marvelous. I used to have one every 10 days when I lived in Cozumel. One of my best friends is a massage therapist there and only charged me $25 for an hour! Bliss.
8I need one I am going to go get one soon. I have a gift certificate to the oasis spa
9Anyone try the hot stone massage? Or rolfing?
10It's been Waaaayyyyyy too long. I got one in the month before I had SweetPea, and she's 14 months old this week.
11When I get a facial it's on a special bed that virates and massages your back . . .then towards the end she gives you a small massage too with a handheld one.
Does that count?
12And what's rolfing?
Last night. My husband gives great ones.
13I just booked my first ever hot stone massage! I'm excited.
14I just booked my first ever hot stone massage! I'm excited.
15I get an hour massage every 2 weeks because I have a type of arthritis that is in my lower spine - I need it. It has made a world of difference in my life. I have seen the same therapist for over a year now, he is wonderful - he spends the entire hour on my back, shoulders and neck. If any of you are in the Dallas area, see Will at the Serenity Nail & Day Spa in Carrollton. You will be glad you did!
16I had one last night! I get them very very often, pretty much whenever I have time, bc I live overseas and over here, massages are really cheap in comparison to the US. My job is really stressful and I suffer from insomnia, so the massages help a lot. They're the really great hardcore-deep tissue therapeutic massages, too. I'm not a fan of those $150 massages where all they do is rub oil on you.
17I love to get massages, but it's tough on a student budget. So I keep a little tin in my closet and whenever I take off my jeans & there's change in the pockets, I toss it in the tin. When it gets full enough, I'll book an appointment with that money and start over again. It's so much better than losing the coins in my washing machine or the sofa!
18Been awhile for me.
19i love the full body honey butter buffer!
20Never had a professional massage. Too insecure about others seeing my body! Not good with strangers touching me!
21I had one last year sometime. I will be getting one in less than a month though...on my cruise i have decide3d to visit the spa!
22Yesterday. I had knots in my back and she got rid off them. However, now my shoulders and neck are sore. That is the first time that has ever happened. Now I need a massage to fix my massage!?!?
23Today
24Mine was too long ago, Hope and Ims, I'm totally jealous that yours were so recent!
For those of you who have NEVER had a massage, you have to do it. It is sooooooooooooooooooo relaxing.
25I'll get one someday!
26I got a chair massage in March. I tweaked my neck and 30 minutes made all the difference.
27I'm thinking I need one now...
28I've never had one, but I've given my boyfriend hints that I'd love to get a gift certificate for a massage at the spa.
