It is National Nutrition Month and time for us all to rededicate ourselves to eating right. One simple way to improve your diet is to make sure you're eating five or more servings of fruits and veggies a day.

Before eating, I like to add up how many servings of fruits and veggies I have eaten already for the day. This tally inspires me to eat more produce. If I am out for dinner, taking inventory of my earlier meals reminds me to order a salad. If I am in a veggie deficit, when at home, I might make a stir-fry for dinner. A couple of Cuties clementines, my favorite mandarin oranges, make a tasty dessert and often push me over my daily quota of fruit and veg.

Good tip. I love my fruits and veggies!
1I eat WAY more than that. isn't a serving of fruit usually a piece of fruit, and a serving of vegetables a cup?
2I have a piece of fruit with all three meals, and i'd say 2-3 cups of vegetables with both lunch and dinner. today i even had an extra pear in the afternoon before my run.
Great idea.
3Here we have a big push at the moment for 2 and 5 (2 fruit and 5 veg each day). I have no trouble with the two fruit but getting 5 veg in some days is a struggle!
4Yes, I do eat five servings of fruits and veggies a day. I think I may eat extra veggies, but I think it's okay, as they're the low-calorie variety with a lot nutrients.
5Weird
6But aren't we supposed to NOT eat frut after meals?
7I eat probably at least 9 servings of vegetables and 2 servings of fruit per day. More is always better when it comes to veggies!
8My weight started dropping when I started eating 1 cup chopped veggies and scrambled egg whites in the morning. Then I have 2 cups of salad (lettuce/carrots/cucumber) at lunch with a few raw salt free pecans and a tbsp of feta and a small sprinkle of raw salt free pumpkin seeds. For dinner I have another 2 cup salad with a protein and a carb. I used a 5 calorie per 2 tbsp sugar free and fat free dressing that tastes pretty good, it has a vinegar bite. I'm getting my veggies, my insides thank me and the reading on the scales isn't going up.
