Functional foods take on cholesterol...
Unilever has 150 clinical studies showing that two grams of plant sterols a day can lead to a 15% reduction in cholesterol backing up its new Promise Activ SuperShot Yogurt. Plant sterols are found in many fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and vegetable. These three-ounce yogurt-based drinks aim to give you a daily shot of 70 calories and omega-3s and 2 grams of plant sterols, which could lower your cholesterol by about 10% (if you have one per day).
The SuperShots should hit grocery stores this June (retailing for about $3.99 per four-pack), so keep an eye out. I can't wait to try them!

Juggling the words 'shot' and 'yogurt' creep me out.
1These look and sound pretty good. I don't need to bring my cholesterol down, but they sound healthy - it's worth a shot.
2Woohoo! I was just told my cholesterol is too high about 2 days ago (I'm 21). I think it runs in my family.

5Jewel in Chicago isn't carrying them anymore. Walgreens doesn't have them either. And, the Promise Activ website is gone. DAMN!
6This product used to be at Kroger, Publix and walMart but no longer is stocked here. I wonder why? It was recommended by my health coach at Duke University but I can't find it in Georgia. Where can I order it?

8I was buying sure shots at a wal-mart super center. They have discontinued them. That is the only grocery in town. Can they be bought online?

10I can't find Promise Activ shots anymore. What gives? Where can I buy these yogurt shots. I have switched to Dannon, but haven't gotten the same results. I live in Atlanta, but have traveled to Chicago and Seattle in the past couple months. I made a point to look for them in the grocery stores in other cities, but have not found them. I miss my promise shots. I usually had one in the morning with fruit (berries, melons, pinapple, etc) I loved it! It's the only product I have ever been loyal to. Every time I go to the grocery store, it has been in my cart.
