It seemed to be the year of celebrity babies in 2008, so it makes sense that we've been hearing so much about the famous new moms' post pregnancy bodies these days. More often than not, it seems celeb mamas shed extra weight in the matter of a few months, which just isn't feasible for most women. It's refreshing to learn when moms take a slow and steady approach, like Spice Girl Emma Bunton.
It took Emma a year to get back to her previous weight, and while Naomi Watts insists that breastfeeding is the key to her weight-loss, Emma explained her breastfeeding reality and said, "I did it very naturally and slowly, I went to the gym two or three times a week and ate healthily. I breastfed, so you can't go on stupid strict diets."
Aside from taking care of her baby spice, Emma makes time for her boyfriend Jade Jones and her friends. Her attitude toward food is all about moderation, and the proud mom said, "It's got to be about balance though, being healthy but not letting it rule your life. When my friends ask me 'round and say, 'Let's get a pizza,' I would hate to be the only person picking at the pepperoni."

Emma has a nice body. Good for her for being practical on weight-loss. Sure breastfeeding burns calories, but it doesn't drop you a dress-size by itself.
1Just a question, but wasn't she also on tour with the Spice Girls right after she had her son? I'm thinking a couple hours of dancing on stage every night for weeks on end probably helped with her slim down post-baby.
2hmmm.. please define 'stupid-strict' diet..
