I use water. (I mean I got the question right) but I personally use water to fill me up.
For example last night we went out to a tex mex restaurant and before the waiter even brought our chips/salsa I already drank a full glass of water. That way the chips didnt tempt me because my stomeach FELT full. My the time my entree came I was hungry again.
(I was soo good too! My salad has greens, jicama, avocado, grilled chicken, and salsa).
1NdHebert, a lot of times thirst manifests itself in hunger?
2Eating every 2-3 hours is what helps me. I make sure I get a protein, complex carb, healthy fat, and try to get a fruit or veggie at every meal. I drink tons of water as well. But if I'm hungry I eat! I track my calories though so it's all in moderation.
3I picked protein too, but I also use water to keep my hunger in check. I eat a lot of foods that are high in water, like soups and fresh veggies. It seems like eating a lot of foods like that, combined with a small amount of lean protein, keeps me full a lot longer.
4i was going to say protein but i don't know why i didn't.
5My mum makes sure that I have protein all the time. I drink a lot of water though.
61 question? Really? I got it right, but that's not a question.
7oops. I mean that it's not a quiz
8Protein was the obvious answer. That's not to say other food groups aren't important. Do a bit of each and you'll keep in in check.
9Water certainly helps as well, for me!
10ah the good thing protein does for you
