I've asked you all to share your New Year's Resolutions for 2009, and interestingly enough many of you have similar goals for the upcoming year. I am wondering if you can narrow it down and tell me what is your number one New Year's Resolution for 2009. Which of the following New Year's Resolutions tops your list as your number one goal for 2009?
Happy New Year's Eve and enjoy your last few hours of 2008!
British Knights
Max Mara
Topshop
I want to quit smoking for good, and take up running again. I'd like to lose a stone =]
1I ran a half marathon in 2008.
2I really want to run a full one next year.
Stop being lazy and the rest will come. If I overcome this vice the working out, losing weight and training for anything will become true.
3all of the above
4get rid of my one unhealthy habit and quit smoking!
5I said work out more, but really I want to eat healthier too. I keep threatening my husband that we are going organic and we've taken some steps but we still need to eliminate all the snack-y foods!
6all of the above and get a high GPA
7Train for a race... specifically the National Marathon and Ironman Cozumel.
8you're probably right with the lose weight one - but i think that a lot of folks are talking about changing their eating habits to be healthier or more health conscious. i think that's one of the best ways to go:)
9I don't want to focus on losing weight-what's better for me personally is just work out more and focus on the workouts and being healthier, and the weight will come off easily
10Work out more. I eat healthy already and don't indulge in sweets, but I find that I'm quite lazy now. =/
11I just got a puppy that requires TONS of exercise so I won't be able to help but lose weight in 09!
12Reduce
13I said work out more because I think focusing on how it makes me feel and the energy it gives me will keep me going.Losing weight will come along as an extra perk.
14I don't need to lose weight, but I don't always eat the healthiest stuff. I'd like to cut down on my sugar consumption and cut back on my Diet Coke intake...I definitely need to replace most of the Diet Coke with water!
15All of the above-plus improve my posture-too much slouching!
16My resolution is to *continue* the things I started last fall: work out 5 days a week instead of 3 and drink only water and fruit juices. I think I prefer implementing resolutions throughout the year-- there's too much pressure in January!
17LOSE WEIGHT IS A MAJOR GOAL..I'm soo determined and I hope determination helps me
18Get rid of these last 14 pounds once and for all! I got rid of 30 in 2008, so this should be a cinch!
19BEcome more physically active. Take up pilates or kick-boxing.
20I want to have more fun in 2009. I want my workouts to be upbeat and joyful rather than the daily grind.
21I've been working on losing weight for the past 4 months (19 pounds, woot) because I didn't want to tie it to a NY resolution. I want to keep losing, but specifically, train for a 5k this year to get me more physically active.
22Working out more. I'm getting my gym membership tomorrow! Excitement!
23Mine is to be happier overall. And save money. Let's see if the 2 can go hand in hand lol
