I would like to work a few group fitness classes into my workout life. Running alone can get a little lonely. Whether it's Nia, Zumba, or an Anusara Yoga class, I like the class size to have at least 15 people. Somehow that number of people moving at once inspires me to push myself hard. What about you?

11-20 is nice. Not so small that you can be nitpicked, but not too large that if you're making egregious mistakes the instructor won't notice.
1although i haven't taken a group class in over 3 years, i prefer the small intimate setting of a group of about 10. I either take private training sessions or I just work out alone these days.
2Other- if taking, I like a moderate sized group. If teaching, it depends on the format. For Pilates and Yoga, a smaller group (but that never happens) to make sure I can definitely see their form and correct if need be and for Bootcamps/Kickbox, a larger group for energy.
3A smaller group to me is best...
4I have mixed feelings about this. I attend an advanced dance studio. Generally, I don't like to receive extra attention, so I like bigger classes. However, I think I become a better dancer when I get extra attention, and this naturally happens in smaller classes. I'm on the fence on this one.
5I like the extremes, either super private or a million people. If it's private, I like the personal attention, but with a million people I know I won't be the slowest/flabbiest/etc.
6I prefer a smaller group. That way the instructor can spend a little time with everyone and you don't feel too embarrassed if your form is corrected.
7I like really small classes because I like the individual attention I get. Especially when I take yoga classes...I really need help with some of the poses so I get the proper form.
8the smaller the better. i hate getting crambed in and having no space... and i usually drop classes after 1-2 months so i'm always new at them and kind of goofy and not getting ir right, so space is paramount as i don't want to crash into others.
