I have found that folks either love running or they simply hate it. Running is, however, the easiest way to burn those calories up! All you really need are a pair of sneakers and you're good to go. You can do it anywhere and at any level. You can run on a treadmill, pavement, or trails. If you want you can sign up to race, which provides motivation to train as well as increase your speed.
A combination of these reasons must be why you all chose running as your favorite form of exercise. I, too, love to run and am happy we share this favorite. Let's go for a run!

I love biking, but nothing works quite like running for exercise. And it's both flattering and humbling. If you can do it, that's an accomplishment and a talent. But there always seem to be those challenges.... Still, great workout, and a nice stress reliever.
1sorry, I hate running.
2I have tried, and tried, and tried to love running but I can't! I tried track and cross country in high school, I've tried joining running teams, signing up for 5k for charity - nothing works! I cannot bring myself to enjoy it or be good at it.
3running is my therapy... I don't care if I'm good or not, I love it!
4I love running, but in the winter I find that I like the elliptical and the stationary bike and jumping rope a little better...only because it's sort of dangerous to run in the dark, cold, snowy surfaces outside.
5I love running
(I don't know how much I'm going to love running 26.2 about a 112 mi bike and a 2.4 mi swim though
)
6I love running, too. Actually, I jog. Given that I eat well and weight-train, jogging is the best way for me to become lean and defined.
7Ugh! I can't run, its too bad on my weak knees (and ankles and feet - thank you high school cheerleading and soccer), and though I enjoy it I don't want to risk an ACL injury. I rotate between biking, the stairmill (love that thing), and the cross trainer.
8I love running - I can always squeeze this form of workout even time is limited. When I wake up late and miss the class at Y's, I will just simply put on my running shoes and go for a few miles. Just a 3 mile run will burn close to 300 calorie for my weight and pace, that is a cup of ice-cream here.
9Love running. Nothing else gives me the same feeling of accomplishment. There's just something about rounding that last corner panting, red-faced, and sweaty that I can't get enough of.
10I like the idea of running, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Even a short distance is terribly painful on my knees, so I stick to low-impact exercise like the elliptical.
11I enjoy jogging. Even though I have ankle and foot injuries, it is still my favorite form of exercise. Biking and weight-training are a close second.
I love the runner's high and when I finish, there is a sense of accomplishment.
12love running. makes me feel complete!
13I love running. I prefer to do HIIT most days instead of steady state because I feel like I get more of a workout. However, steady state is the best meditation for me. I feel so strong and powerful after a good run but also I feel clear headed and calm. It's amazing!
14Love it... lets me expend all my antsy energy!!
15Running is my guilty pleasure. Sometimes, I just feel the urge to lace up my Nikes and go. I run every weekday, 4:45 AM.
