I am sure you have all seen mini-trampolines at the gym, but how many of you have ever hopped on one for a workout? Mini-trampolines are not only cute and compact, but they're also a great source for a little exercise variety.

I like to structure a mini-trampoline workout similar to how I would work with a jump rope.
1. 00:00-05:00 Warm-up, jump slowly using both feet
2. 05:00-10:00 Jump on both feet
3. 10:00-12:00 Jump using right foot only
4. 12:00-14:00 Jump using left foot only
5. 14:00-15:00 Jump slowly using both feet
Repeat steps 2-5 three times. If three repetitions is two times too many, start with just doing one complete set and work your way up to the full 30 minutes. Cool-down with your choice of activity for 5-10 minutes. You can buy a mini-trampoline (like the one pictured above) for $29.99 at FogDog.com.
Fit's Tip: Two things. First, don't do this if you have a headache or if you feel one coming on, jumping can really make the pain worse. Second, I prefer to do routines on the mini-trampoline in front of a TV (or mirror), since the repetitive nature of jumping up and down can get really boring after just a few minutes.

What a great idea! Thank you!
1My sisters used one of these in college as her exercise. Now that she has moved back home, Im going to hijack the trampoline!
2I bought one of these that came with a video. I can't remember what is was called. I found two issues with it: 1. I have larger boobs and jumping up and down can start to hurt, even when you strap them down and 2. it made me feet ache. I tried it with shoes, without shoes, with socks only, and no matter what my feet started to ache after 10 minutes or so. It definitely works your legs and core though!
3Jumping on a trampoline for 15 minutes sounds like a fun way to workout!
4I jumped on my cousin's full size trampoline over the weekend. It was a workout...and now I want one. This would be a compromise though!
5I love trampolines! I would just caution people to be careful jumping on one foot. I have bad ankles and sprained one pretty badly when I tried jumping on one foot on my cousin's trampoline. That was a full size one though, so maybe there is less risk with a mini one.
6i want to try it
7me gustaria un mini-trampolin que sea varato y me gustaria que me manden fotos y los precios!!
