I applaud anyone who runs 26.2 consecutive miles. It is the fact that Ryan Reynolds took up running to raise awareness of Parkinson's that has me hooping and hollering for him. He explained his participation in the NYC Marathon like this: "Not since the discovery of Junior High School has a torture been so effective. Why on earth would I willfully do this? On behalf of my Father, Jim Reynolds, who's spent the last 15 years in a life or death struggle with Parkinson's disease."
