More than just eye candy, the fit men of Hollywood are impressive in the way they work their bodies. Many of them are put to the test when shaping up for a big role, and some are just fitness buffs by nature. Yes, there's one athlete on the list, but it's not every day that a soccer player doubles as an underwear model. Who deserves the title of fittest male celebrity of 2008?

4I voted David Beckham- but it's not really fair to include him because he's an athlete, and none of the others are! Plus, soccer players are notoriously some of the fittest athletes!

6Well, the obvious choice would be David Beckham, since he's a professional athlete. But if we have to choose from the non-athletes, I'd pick Matthew McConaughey. He's definitely pretty buff.

10I didn't even think about the fact that Beckham is PAID to be in shape...of course he wins. Soccer players run around 4-5 miles (a lot of that in sprints) each match. Never mind the strength training and other stuff they have to do.
Non-professional athelete...I'm going with Ryan Reynolds. He ran a pretty darn respectible NYC marathon. All of the hour long stair workouts in the world cannot compete with running a marathon (of course I'm TERRIBLY biased in that respect
).

13becks is always my go to guy - he's got a great body and of course it's partially due to the fact that he is ALWAYS playing soccer for one team or another.
