When drinking up, remember the bottle contains two servings. Why not share your bottle with a friend?

It doesn't matter if these beverages are made with fruits and vegetables... the sugar content is appalling. I know there are two servings per bottle, but the bottles are small. Certain flavors have more than 60g per bottle! Choose water and get your nutrients from whole vegetables and fruits. Odwalla may be better than soda, but it's really just a lesser of two evils.

I love this stuff!
2I agree with Emily..this is a big sugarbomb. I'd prefer a plain tea with a squirt of fresh lemon for a pick me up. I don't drink soda.
3WOW - that IS too much sugar. Fit, it's a little ironic considering your post above recommending you keep your sugar intake under 40 - 45 grams a day. Drinking a full bottle of most of these is MORE than what your daily intake SHOULD be... (Gives a new meaning to the label "FitSugar"?)
...plus, aren't they like $3 a pop?
4woops - that other post was talking about 40-45 g ADDED sugar.
What constitutes ADDED sugar?
5plus.. the sugar in these drinks are from fruit. added sugar, which is not found in any of these drinks is constituted as any sugar that is not the natural form of sugar. ex. aspartame.
i loveeee these drinks! i usually have one of these for my lunch and some have an extra energy boost that allows me to keep going throughout the day! my favorites are strawberry banana and mango tango!!
6I prefure Naked, nice post!
7Remember that the sugar in most of the fruit ones is from the actual fruit (not like the Limeade or lemonade, that's added sugars).
I remember a friend of mine was appalled by how much sugar was in a cup of berries, screaming "I thought they were healthy!"
That was a long explanation.
8The reason you are better off eating the whole fruit is due to the fiber (that's what make you feel fuller, longer).
These are fine in moderation
Meh. I still feel guilty if I drink the stuff. Water and an orange or an apple really fill me up better, anyway.
9Odwalla is owned by Coke. Coke supports violence against labor leaders in Latin America. So worry a bit less about the sugar and a bit more about funding evil.

Now, back when these drinks (well, slightly better tasting versions thereof) were called Fresh Samantha, a small, Maine-based company, they were cool.
10god i though was an independent company. oh it just had to own by coke ( so annoying) and the content is sugar awfull. same a coke.
11I LOVE the Pumpkin protein but it's seasonal!!!
12The green Superfood used to be my lifeline in high school and college... too bad it's not available in France! Still trying to find a European substitute.
And yeah, the sugar content in juice comes from fruit. There's no added sugars - flipping out over the sugar content in these is like cutting oranges out of your diet because they're too high in sugar.
13There is a difference between sugar, and natural sugar. If you don't want to drink Odwalla or Naked, you're only cutting fruit out of your diet. Don't be &%tarded.
14they're pretty yummy but not something i'd drink often due to the high calorie per serving, and there's often 2 servings per bottle.
15mmm so delicious!

The good people at Odwalla should know better than to serve up so much sugar without fiber. As some have already noted below, the miracle of real fruit is that the sugar is always accompanied by fiber, which moderates the glycemic load. A high sugar load without anything like protein or fiber to slow it down will result in a dumping of insulin into your system... followed by a nice crash... which will leave you looking for more sugar. I'm genuinely appalled that Odwalla doesn't seem to know this.
