Last week I quizzed you all about pie. And after asking about the calorie counts and fat content of popular holiday pies, many of you were unswayed by the numbers and remained determined to enjoy your pie.

Now it is the day after Thanksgiving, and I am wondering . . .

i had none... but i wish i had 3.
1I had one itty-bitty piece of pumpkin
2I had half of one.
3half a piece of pecan pie and a bite of chocolate pie!
4Didn't have ANY! AND I went to the gym!
5I made the low fat pumpkin from the recipe earlier this week and had a piece of that and some apple. The pumpkin was actually really good even though I used splenda instead of sugar and tofu instead of milk.
62, but my pies are vegan and crustless so I don't feel bad about it.
7One piece of pumpkin chiffon pie. Yum.
8No pie but i did just have some whip cream ( 15 calories for 2 TABLESPOONS )
9and I went to the gym
Heck yes
i made a pie, so it was only natural for me to want to try it
10A small piece of apple since I only wanted to try it but a bigger piece of the one I knew I wanted to have. I had a little bit more of than one a little later because I was actually still a little hungry any since I didn't have that big of a dinner and I previously made sure not to have a big lunch to have more room for food later especially since I can't stand feeling overstuffed.
11i had 3! But it wasn't that bad, apple pie sweetened with splenda. I didn't do too bad at all yesterday, we went to the gym in the morning and went for a walk after we ate. And I woke up early-ish this morning and went shopping. I'm pretty much done with my christmas shopping! YEA!
12I didn't have any pie yesterday, but I ate four pieces of cheesecake. I'm going to eat apple pie and banana cream pie today though.
13the tiniest piece of apple pie so the hostess didnt feel bad
14I rarely indulge in sweets, but yesterday I had a slice of homemade apple pie AND a slice of homemade pumpkin toffee cheesecake.
You'll hafta roll me outta here....
15My sweet tooth isn't very strong so I only had part of some pecan rum pie.
16*lol, part of a slice that is.*
17i figured i would have a piece of apple pie because since i am a student in college, going home for the holidays is the only time i get to eat fattening things. when i am at school, i burn quite a lot of calories studying and working out. so, although i probably gained 2 or 3 pounds while i am home for the holidays, that will quickly come off by next week. so why not eat some pie while i can?
182, but it was the low fat, nut free version of the Turtle Pumpkin Pie that Kraft put out. It was fabulous to say the least and worth every single calorie and fat gram.
19I didn't have any pie & I ran a 5 mile turkey trot in the am!
20No pie! I made pumpkin cupcakes with vanilla buttercream icing that I piped on top and spinkled with edible gold glitter. The buttercream recipes was heavenly (got it off a yum-link!)
21One small slice of apple pie. Yum!
22nothing because i am allergic to everything! holidays are torture for me because I get to watch everyone eat-- so not fun.
23I'm not gonna apologize, I had 2 1/2 slices of my full-fat pumpkin pie! And it was delicious!
24None!I had a great work out and ate frest apple instead!....I'm good!
25I had none. But after Black Friday running around I am going to eat a piece of cheesecake my aunt made!
26Derby pie! With whipped cream.
27One with whipped cream, and I had candied sweet potatoes, yum!
2820 give or take a piece of apple
29enjoy the lbs, liars!
Zero. But I had cake.
30wait a sec...some of these comments are clearly referring to sex with a woman (pie)...that's hilarious. I had to share that!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOLOL In that case, I don't 'do' pie.
Cute that Dave's mom made peanut butter and pecan pie...oh well. What the Colorado pie? minced meat or something? she should've made that instead of the peanut butter...you know
just to be accurate.
31David Letterman! sorry. I'm high on turkey I think...
32i had two, but they were both small. i wanted to try 2 kinds
33I didn't eat any pie, but I did bake an apple pie that a lot of people ate. I also went to the gym today and yesterday to work off everything I ate...I don't usually overdo it on Thanksgiving.
34ditto Spectra...I remember baking a pie that I didn't get any of as well...matter of fact, I didn't even offer any. Waited for it to cool...they just ate it.
Don't cha hate that?
35I split one, so I had 1/2, with no crust (I've always hated crust!)
it was good. And
I'm glad because last year, I wouldn't allow myself pie, but this year I let myself let go and just relax and enjoy the day.
36It was ridiculous. I ate the equivalent of half a pie. My sister and roommate got up early and made special gluten-free pie crusts so that I could have pie too. I so rarely get to eat stuff like that! I went a little nuts.
37not a big "sweets" person... so no pie for me. had about 3 slices of stuffing though. lol.
38I had a one slice of pumpkin cheesecake. But I also had cookies, apple cake, dark chocolate, red wine, etc. Thanksgiving is the only time I indulge in food, so I'm okay with it.
Besides, I'm really fit, and my metabolism is high. My body can burn up that food, no problem. One of my Mom's Thanksgiving guest commented to me on how flat my abs were (even after all that food). She wanted to know my exercise routine.
Right after Thanksgiving, I return back to my fit lifestyle. I really gain no weight whatsoever.
39yup! with yummy whipped cream on top!
40that's one of the great things to be in a southern home for the holiday when that's not my norm. all the pies that they make here are things that i'm not used to and aren't really my taste, so i'm easily able to stay away from eating even just one piece.
my mom always makes
a fruit pie and that's something that i would have normally tried, but since this year we had pecan or buttermilk those are something that i would really rather avoid
41i had a small slice of pumpkin pie, and i had made a copycat version of starbucks cranberry bliss bars, so i had some.
42I didn't have room left for pie, sadly.
43One small piece of homemade, decadent, pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Since I made the pie with cream it was so filling and satisfying that I had no desire for any more that day.
Unfortunately there were leftovers, so it will end up being a total of three slices. Don't feel guilty in the slightest. Everything else at Thanksgiving was pretty healthy since I made it all myself and I rarely indulge.
44two bites and no crust!
45wow.. i had a slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream, 2 pieces of pumpkin roll, and a slice of caramel apple pecan pie. and didn't work out all week. ugh... i feel very guilty after reading these posts.
462 pieces and i don't regret it at all! Delicious!
47I had some cake and a few cookies...no regrets. I must say some of the people on here seem borgerline pro-anorexic with all this "I rarely indulge" and I went to the gym twice that day and then walked later and .....WOW LIVE A LITTLE!
48I didn't eat any pie, but our neighbor makes these chocolate truffles made with liquor...I think I had 4! I also had a lot of wine...no guilt here, though!
49Two. But over the weekend I ate a whole one I believe, what is it with people thinking that pie is breakfast? How do I explain that to my mother in law?
