Those fun sized candy bars can be so hard to resist. According to early returns on the which Halloween candy is worth the calories? poll, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is looking like a winner!

The morning after any food-related holiday, I find it wise to take stock of my actions from the previous day. Did I hold strong or did I overindulge? Now that we all know what candy we find most tempting, what I really want to know is . . .

For me, it wasn't so much the CANDY, but the ALCOHOL!! Darn Halloween falling on a Friday night!
1I did not eat any candies. However, I made cookies for my kids, and I had 3 of them.
2I had just one packet of chocolate! skittles. They were oddly tasty but not the kind of candy you can't stop eating. I made sure to savor every bite.
3I didn't have any, but I did have a serving of the flan that I made.
4i don't care for Halloween, so just three 8gr pieces of chocolate.
5I had 2 reeses (on regular size cup and 1 small cup), 1 mini hershey bar, and I kitkat. I think I did pretty well! I've got some leftover reeses cups at home though... must hide, or limit myself to 1-2 per day until they are gone. HA!
6No candy, no cookies, no alcohol. Damn, I'm good! (or totally boring)
7A mini Almond Joy and two Hershey kisses. A lot of walking too! My youngest brother would not go home until his bag was full
8Too much. Stupid parties...
9I ran it off though
I'm so ashamed of my over indulgences yesterday that I'm not even going to put it in writing! Let's just say today I plan on repenting hardcore. I'm going to go for a run and eat uber-healthy!
10i always eat too much LOL
11even if its not Halloween hehehehe
Nothing. I can't eat that stuff or it'd send me to the hospital so thats self-control enough right there
12I am so proud of myself: At work where there were oodles of candies, I took one fun pack each of a few of my favorite Halloween candies (Caramel Twix, Skittles, M&Ms, Snickers, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Kit Kat, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup), and I found it was plenty for me. Now that it's November 1st, I don't even feel the need to fall into the post-Halloween sales trap of buying more candy, and I'm taking it as a new month and a reason to slim down in the weeks before Thanksgiving (I'll aim for about 5 pounds though: I can't expect greater results in four weeks!).
And, on top of my hour-long workout, I climbed up and down 12 flights of stairs in my building 5 times over the course of the day. This morning I found I lost a pound!
13i ate a few pieces of dove sugar-free chocolate
14I think I had like 800 different candy bars. lol whoops!
15no candy. just a lot of cake for my bday which was yesterday!!!!!
16thankfully i didn't go trick or treating and we didn't have any candy here for kids since they don't come to our apartment building. i was able to avoid all temptation for it.
17I had alot, it was tempting!!!!
18i didn't have any candy. i went to a halloween party though and had only one white chocolate chip cookie.
19No drinking, no smoking, and one Snickers Almond.
20I was a good girl yesterday
i tried a bite of tamarind candy for the first time & was really open minded about it, but i guess the look on my face was priceless as i tried it -- didn't like it much.
21I was horribly tempted (as in going to neighbors who were giving out full candy bars and pretending to be a teenager type of pathetically tempted) but in the end I resisted, had 1/2cup of toasted pumpkin seeds and went to bed. It was horrible. Next year when I'm maintaining weight and not losing weight I'm so eating like 10 little candy thingys.
22none
23we dont have kids in our building so we didnt have candy to give out.
and the candy we did buy was taken to my husband's work immediately after purchasing so i didnt even get my hand on those.
we went to the gym last night and they had some candy out but i noticed it after my workout and thought, meh not worth it
Unfortunately, I didn't eat any candy yesterday... I wasn't around any because I had to work last night, and we were busy!! Too much running around and not enough time to snack. I did have an after-work beer and a 'Sweet Tarts' shot though!
24I gave all of it out to Trick-or-Treaters, so I had none left over to tempt me
25Nothing because I went to a party yesterday so no trick or treating and no handing out. Although today I am eyeing the stash my little brother accumulated . . .
26I had a mini 3 musketeers, a mini hershey's, and a mini kitkat.
27well, i WAS tempted, but didn't eat...candy.
maybe that's because i had a piece of chocolate cake for lunch and a half of a doughnut for breakfast yesterday (damn co-workers!).
anyway, just returned from a double workout and am feeling a lot better about my horrible day of eating yesterday. still not hungry.
28i had three pieces of candy
29I don't like candy, but I did have one mini cupcake that I was baking for a function.
30I didn't actually have much. I actually ended up a little more bread than I needed to, but it's too good especially when it's fresh and soft when heated.
31I'm lucky there was any left to give out to trick-or-treaters! I've been eating candy all week!
32i took my puppy trick'or'treating. so she had a few biscuits and i had a couple packs of smarties.
33Because of Yumsugar's post about Candy Corn and being driven nuts from watching hours and hours of Ghost Hunters LIVE I was driven to wander the streets of San Francisco until I found a Walgreens wherein I found a bag of Brach's Candy Corn.
I about said Candy Corn home continued watching Grant & Jason pretend to hunt for shots and devoured half of the bag then promptly got violently ill because of dumping syndrome and spent the next two hours in the bathroom trying to sleep between bouts of being sick.
34I didn't eat any.....but believe me I was tempted!
35I ate a handful (or so), and a bunch of other yummy snacks too because my boyfriend and I stayed in and watched scary movies.
36I didn't eat any because I didn't buy any.
37Not a candy lover and no trick or treaters in my building. I was more excited to put together my Iron Gym and elated it fit my door (for pull ups). That was a strange thing to do on Halloween but more healthy I guess!
38No trick or treaters here...one of the benefits of being in a country that doesn't really celebrate halloween that much.
39None.
However, I was at a dinner party, and I had some wonderful bread pudding. It was made from chocolate-filled croissants, and homemade caramel sauce. I had it with a glass of deep-flavored shiraz. It had a BEAUTIFUL bouquet. I don't say this often, but the bread pudding and wine was worth the calories. LOL
40between the family halloween party and all the food with mexican rice, enchiladas, pasta, my uncles famously delicious cookies, cupcakes, cakes, candy, sherbert punch AND then spending time at the inlaws with leftover pizza and the usual stock of sweets in that home I gained oh.... 4 lbs in 2 days. JOY!
ah well, back to the gym tomorrow morning. . .
41I ate so many caramels my teeth hurt. Whatever. I am not going to feel bad, just do some exercise today.
42too much...that includes the alcohol and the candy! hahaha...who cares it's halloween...only comes once a year!
43I would say I had about 8 mini fun-size candy bars between Thursday and Sunday. I had a few beers Friday and Saturday night. But this morning, I was down .6 pounds from Friday, so it obviously didn't affect me too bad!
