One of the most common things women have a hard time doing is completely loving their bodies. Try and let that go and do your best to stop focusing on your own negative body image issues today for National Love Your Body Day. The driving force behind such a fabulous day is the National Organization for Women Foundation (a.k.a. NOW), which encourages all women to:
Make a pact with yourself to treat your body with respect, and do things to promote positive body image. For example, try a new physical activity just for fun, not to lose weight. Stop weighing yourself, and change your goal from weight loss to improving your health.
So let's work on loving our bodies today and every day that follows. I've grown to love my body because of the amazing things it does and in turn, lets me do. From creating my two healthy daughters to taking me through my first triathlon, I've truly come to appreciate my body for its inherent intelligence and never-ending strength. Why do you love your body? Share the love in the comments section below.

happy Love Your Body Day LOL
1This is kinda funny, since I just got dressed and thought to myself, "hmmm, I look good naked." Haha, apparently I feel a little conceited when only half awake.
2I'm content with my body. I think my body is the best instrument I own, and I take good care of it.
Like Tlsgirl, I think I look good naked, too. In fact, I think I look best naked.
3I will also agree that I look best naked! So I love my body for that, but also that it can go great distances and grow and strengthen in ways I never imagined
4I love my body because it's strong and getting even stronger. I'm beginning to appreciate my curves, too.
5my husband loves me body naked... so i do too... i love that my body makes me feel like a real, sexy and strong woman
6My body is getting better every day due to the elliptical and dieting. I'll look good, too naked soon!
7Maybe it should be a Love Your Body week.
8I have a Sports Illustrated, Victoria's Secret kind of body (without exaggerations). Though that should not be the standard for women (this is only one of many beautiful female shapes), I am still proud of looking the way I do. I feel like a supermodel. Life is a runway. Yeah!
9i love my body because it got me through many years of cheerleading and enabled me to do many backflips lol.
10I love my body because it is strong and capable. My arms lift my kids above my head and they love to "fly." My legs power my bicycle. My midsection is not what is used to be but I grew two children in there! It took me a long time to get to this point mentally, but I do love my bod.
11I love my body, too. I think I look pretty good naked...I have a lot of muscles and I'm very toned. Sometimes I do wish I had longer legs and bigger boobs, but hey, what can I really do about it? I feel like my body's probably just about the best it's ever been...I've been much heavier and a bit thinner than I am now and I think it looks best just the way it is now.
