Celebrities make loads of dough, and keeping up their svelte appearance is part of their job. To help them stay slim and toned, most stars can afford to have live-in chefs prepare healthy meals for them all day, everyday. They can also afford to hire full-time personal trainers who coach them (in their home gyms, I'm sure) and give them advice on how to get the bodies they want. Most of us don't have that luxury, but if you could choose one, which would you rather have?

LOL. It looks like the same guy in those pics.
Voted for a personal trainer. could kick me on my butt right now. Where is my motivation to go and get a gym membership? Damn new city.
I could use a nanny too cause for now i can only dream of working out with hubby.
Personal trainer. I love to cook too much to give it up to someone else.
Def personal trainer. I can usually put together something healthy to eat, but I lack a bit of motivation to get to the gym.
hate to burst bubbles...but my fiance is a personal trainer and after spending the whole day at the gym the last thing he wants is to ask him to work me out (no not like that). he says gym equipment makes him nauseous when he doesn't have to work lol...so i abide but i've watched a lot so i got some good moves down myself.
I'd definitely pick a personal trainer, it's pretty easy to eat healthy, but to actually get my ass off the couch and do something is a completely different story. And I agree with Kaki, damn new country! It was hard enough to get motivated to go running back home where I knew all the routes, now I don't even know where to go!
I actually find it easier to go to the gym than to eat healthy - lol! So I'd rather have the chef. Plus I'm considering becoming some kind of personal trainer/health coach when I graduate in a few years, so...
I prefer a personal trainer to focus my work outs.
trainer.....i know i can cook and eat healthy......i just need someone to help me on the working out part
A personal trainer since I like cooking and don't really need that. But not a personal trainer who gives nutritional information when they haven't studied nutrition and when they base it on dieting trends.
trainer. it's not too difficult to follow a recipe, motivation to get to the gym is another story.
I'd pick a personal trainer because I love to cook. I'd love to have a trainer to help me shake up my workout routines.
i would pick a personal chef. i am motivated enough to go to the gym but not motivated enough to pass up junk food, sweets since i am too lazy to eat right...lol
Personal trainer. I love to cook and I took Nutrition as a course requirement for my major, but I definitely need help working out. I'm pretty lazy and uncoordinated.
trainer! i can go to the gym and run on the treadmill, but when it comes to lifting weights i don't have a clue what i am doing.
i can eat healthy enough on my own. and i think the chef would make things for me that i wouldn't like/eat.
I also love to cook so I'd pick a personal trainer. Maybe having more efficient workouts would free up even more time in the kitchen!
definately personal chef... i can focus quite well when it comes to working out, but i rarely have the time or energy to make a full, nutritious meal versus just snacking on veggies & fruit all day!
after clicking on the personal chef, come to think about it, i want both!!!
i want both. its tooo difficult to pick, but i chose a personal trainer
Trainer. Simply because I know more about eating/cooking healthy & Usually when I go to the gym, I don't really know where to start.
Personal Shopper!
personal trainer because if i had a personal chef i would probably only ask them to make macaroni and cheese
I am SHOCKED so many people want a PT. Working out is fun, challenging, and a stress reliever. I love pushing myself hard and trying new things I read about or see at the gym (it's so easy to just poach moves other people are doing with their trainers). At the end of the day, the only one who can put in the time and effort into exercising that will make the difference is you. A trainer can tell you what to do, but you still have to bust your butt to do it.
Cooking on the other hand takes time and energy that I don't always have. I also don't enjoy it and tend to make the same three healthy things (or succumb to ordering out). Also, the results don't come from the cooking part. Results come from the eating healthy part. I can let someone else cook the healthy food, while I eat it, and still see results (unlike working out where I have to do the work). I would kill for a chef to cook me healthy, interesting, tasty meals.
I am great in the kitchen. If I need anything it is that extra motivation to get my butt in gear and be more active.
What I'd really want is a hair stylist to do my hair for me. I just don't have the patience to dry it and straighten it myself...Plus it always looks better when someone else has done it.
I want it all! I am definitely no kind of cook, in any way, shape or form. I know about fitness much more than I know about cooking, although I do know a ton about nutrition and understand it better. I have no problem /w motivation.. I just need someone to teach me how to incorporate all kinds of exercise into my workouts because I usually just do the same stuff (although I know variation is important, I like routine). Personal shopper would also be nice (even though I do love shopping) or a nanny (for when I have kids). Celebs have it so great!
Both!
I already have a personal trainer so I'll take the chef please
I want a personal pilates or yoga instructor, the kind that comes to your house.
A chef would be nice but I do enjoy cooking so it's not as necessary.
I would LOVE an Ironman coach -- someone to plan my workouts, track my progress, make sure I'm not overtraining, etc.
I would also LOVE a chef.
I don't cook.
I'd take the personal trainer. I wish I had one. I can motivate myself to do most things, but I'm bad at getting to the gym. And when I do get there, a lot of times I give myself an easy workout. I'd do much better with someone guiding me or yelling in my face. I'd love a personal chef too, but it wouldn't be necessary. I like cooking. I find it relaxing. I make really simply things considering I'm in college and cooking just for myself, but whatevs.
I would have say a personal chef.Yea it's pretty easy to cook but I most of the time I don't have the energy or the time to do it.Also most of the time I make the same few things over and over and then I get bored. So it would be nice to have chef cook my different things everyday
neither, i'd choose WILLPOWER!
Trainer. I never know what to do at the gym and it would help out so much if someone was there to push me rather than leaving myself to my own devices...
Chef--in a heartbeat. I hate working out, but I absolutely love to eat.
i have lovely relationship with food, it's the exercise that i struggle with. so the trainer.
If i had someone making sure that i ate properly, and someone to spend that time in the kitchen i would lose weight for sure!
chef for sure!
Trainer, I am SUCH a picky eater, that a personal chef would just be wasted!
personal chef for sure! I can workout, i know what to do - its the eating thats my problem.
Trainer! I started working with a trainer a few months ago and can't believe how much more focused I am. I always did regular weight training, and when I initially started working with my trainer, after an hour, I thought "That's it? I do more in an hour on my own!" But wow, I may do less things with my trainer in an hour, but the results have been WAY more than what I've gotten on my own. I made the committement to work with him 3x a week so I know that's an advantage and not everybody can do that. But i really really recommend scheduling a session or two with a trainer, once a week, once every two weeks, once a month... it will be worth it for the small corrections on form and effort and mixing up your workout. I LOVE my trainer!
I couldn't have said it better jkat! Completely agree. Aside from how time consuming cooking is (IMO) I'm a vegetarian so the idea of a chef cooking new and interesting meals sounds awesome.
I think that losing/maintaining weight is 85% diet and 15% exercise...so if I had a chef to cook all healthy meals, I wouldn't have to work out so much! Right?
I'd pick the personal chef. I have no problem getting up the motivation to work out but I absolutely hate to cook and the thought of planning meals gives me hives.
