With the way things have been going in the economy, more and more folks are starting to let the stress of the news get to their health and mental health facilities are getting more calls than ever.

Don't let it be you. Instead of getting consumed with the media reports, make sure to create a balance between watching the economy and watching your health. When the news gets rough, take a walk or hike, go for a jog, ride your bike, or play with your kids outside. Find free or inexpensive activities to do that will not only help clear your mind, but will also keep you moving forward on your health goals. Above all, relax. If you need some tips I've got a lot of ideas for relaxation.

I know this is not about the economy, but hearing Sarah Palin speak puts my stomach in knots and I have to exercise to get them to go away.
1good point-I have been watching too much CNBC lately and it's only freaking me out...tomorrow when I feel like watching CNBC i will try to do some excercise instead
2I definitely need some relaxation and exercise to help relax me.
3Exercise is a great stress reliever. I never thought about it in terms of the economic downturn, but it makes sense. My husband and I get out of the house to exercise almost every evening so there's not much time to watch the coverage.
4Exercise is a great stress reliever! I've come to love it!
