Recently PopSugar has spotted Cameron Diaz going to the gym a lot. Yet another reason why I love Cameron.
One thing I noticed though, Cammie and I have the same taste in head bands (I always knew we were similar - woo hoo!). Turns out that neither of us will hit the gym without a Cotton Head Band ($8.00) from American Apparel. These great and versatile head bands come in 24 colors and they're stretchy enough to hold your hair back but loose enough that you won't feel like your brain is being squeezed out while you're exercising. i love american apparel, but seriously. eight dollars for a headband? how about 2.99 for three at target?
one of the many, many reasons why i love having short hair.
1I like the idea of American Apparel--that is to say, sweatshop free clothing--but their clothes aren't terribly flattering on most women, and the owner is a creepy sexist pig who sleeps with all the employees and models.
2I ordered four, I was just looking for good head bands. I'll try them out and tell you what I think about them!
3Ok got to Target & get the Goody Headbands with grip for working out. Total cost 3 for $4.99
4Ditto about the creepy owner. My dad used to be his main contractor/manufacturer (pre-NAFTA) and when the owner hit on me (I was 15 at the time) my pops nearly choked him to death!
And they do use sweatshops... they are just located in downtown LA and not Mexico or China. Don't believe the hype!

5umm believe it or not i never thought of getting headbands to work out in. durrr. now i won't have to worry about hair in my face. i can't believe myself. sheesh.
6or you could be practical and go to target and get a pack of the same, washable, headbands in a variet of colors for 3.99 and not pay shipping! *gasp*

10I don't shop at American Apparel, but I do LOVE headbands. I have to say, though, that the whole ponytail + headbands fad eludes me... I think it just looks weird. One or the other, no both.
