I was recently making up a cardio workout play list for myself and I realized that I always pick the same songs to run to, just in a different order. I am thinking that this can't only happen to me since we all have our favorites, so I am curious to learn what song is a must have on your own cardio workout play lists. Maybe you have to have Shakira's Hips Don't Lie or maybe you can't run without Led Zeppelin's Ramble On? Just tell us in the comment section below.

Celestina
Great Plains
Givenchy
latley my running soundtrack has been madonna. i love confessions on the dance floor!!
1Lately i have been listening to Prodigy - Fat of the Land.
2A great one is Christina Aguilera's "Stronger"!
3I just put up a post about this over at my blog (inthegym.net) - hope that's okay to say. Anyway - I listen to random playlists at projectplaylist and imeem. But 2 songs that are on heavy rotation right now are Lose Control - Missy Elliot and Touch It (remix pt.2) - Busta Rhymes.
4Dance remixes and pop usually dominate my "Workout" iMixes, but the one consistency is that I have indie-pop (?) "Burning" by The Whitest Boy Alive and "Free Stress Test" by Professor Murder for my sprints...focusing on the driving beats keep me going when it gets tough.
5Whenever I'm on the treadmill and I'm getting tired, and I hear Impression That I Get by Mighty Mighty Bosstones or Plowed by Sponge come up on my ipod, I crank up the speed and haul @ss!!
6oh man i have so many, but one song that gets me pumped is Joe Budden Pump it Up and Fire. I also like any Britney Spears song from her remix c.d. Try And then we Kiss or Me Against the music remixes.
7I like listening to Linkin Park & Jay-Z, Rage Against the Machine, and a lot of hip hop. Basically, anything that will get me pumped up.
8The new song from The Fratellis - Flathead....O.M.G...BEST WORKOUT SONG EVER. Okay, it is for me. Right now. Because it's new.
I love listening to it while I'm warming up on the elliptical, though..it's so fun.
9I love the Linkin Park and Jay-Z mixes. They really keep me grinding along if i start to struggle. I like a lot of Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix's faster songs too. And some hip hop in there as well.
10the last two days (since it came out), i've been listening to year zero by NIN. it's amazing and keeps me going a lot longer...
11Back in Black..ACDC.
12I love starting my workout with the Mad Stuntman and Reel 2 Real saying:
13I like to move it, move it! Ya like to...
"Everybody Dance Now" remixed by Bob Sinclair
14i like the latest nelly furtado cd, especially maneater
15I will run to anything, fast, slow, I'll even run to podcasts....here are some of my current faves:
16Final Countdown - Europe
You Give Love a Bad Name - Bon Jovi
Better off Dead - Faders
Freakum Dress and Ring the Alarm - Beyonce
Excuse Me Mr. - No Doubt (amazing for intervals!!)
Galang by M.I.A. gets me moving. I have no idea what she is saying - i can understand 1 out of every 4 to 5 words, but i love it.
17i like the go-go's head over heels and a lot of journey
18-Remember the name by Fort Minor
(People put this song on your ipod/mp3 player, it will motivate you. trust me.)
-99 problems remix by Jay-Z feat. Linkin Park
-Ready to Fall by Rise Against
-Teenagers by My Chemical Romance
-Nada puede cambiarme by Paulina Rubio
-Smells like teen spirit by Nirvana
-Give it away by Red Hot Chili Peppers
-Just a girl by No Doubt
-Ride by The Vines
loads more. I adore music.
19It's definitely a mix. The ones on heavy rotation right now are Missy, Joss Stone, Pearl Jam (Big Wave, Even Flow), Damian Marley (All Night), Zeppelin (Whole Lotta Love), and I always seem to end up finishing with White Snake (Here I Go Again)
20Anything by BT especially his last cd This Binary Universe.
21I like "where's your head at" by basement jaxx and I know its totally cheesy but survivor's eye of the tiger always gets me moving.
22I'm obsessed with Queen's "Under Pressure," especially the new remix of that I found: the Rah mix. I also love "Like a Boy" from Ciara.
23Definitely some Nelly Furtado(new cd), Gwen, and JLo.
I'll throw in some classic rock to mix it up...some Tom Petty ("Won't back down" gets me going every time) and Boston. : )
2480s music!
25Pass that dutch - Missy Elliott
26Magig Bus - The Who
Private Eyes - Hall and Oates
Crazy on you - Heart
Speak Slow - Tegan And Sara
Just Can't Get Enough - Depeche Mode
Sweetness - Jimmy Eat World (a good sprinting song)
and recently Candyman - Christina Aguilera
With wackdoodle on this one, anything BT, and as of late I've been liking this italo dance duo called Paps 'n' Skar
27lol. i am not a fan of the ashlee simpson, but i LOVE working out to 'la la.'
28Renegade by Eminem / Jay-Z gets me pumped up and makes me feel tough.
29Shipping up to boston - dropkick murphys
Unwritten - natasha someoneor other (the hills song)
come clean - hilary duff
i'm a slave for you - birtney spears
tessie - dropkick murphys
i use a shuffle at the gym but when i'm in need of a boost i always click to one of those songs
30I can't help but get in the groove when I hear Wynonna's "Attitude"!
31Le Tigre's Deceptacon and Outkast's B.O.B are two songs that ALWAYS get me going
32the remake of Come On Eileen, my iPod says its by No Doubt but i know its not, i just cant remember who really sings it and i listen to tons of techno, Louie Devito has great mixes, oh and i also like Breaking Benjamin and Angels and Airwaves, having a little punk thrown in there is a nice mix-up!
33ok, kinda lame but i am in love with the band Ok Go! their cd Oh No is perfect for working out in my opinion... i just listen to it in order while i am running/walking its got faster songs and slower ones (but not really slow) i love to use it to alternate between running and walking!
34Wait a minute by Pussy Cat Dolls =)
35Jet Airliner- Steve Miller Band
Tush -ZZ Top
The Seeds- The Roots
Ride Captain Ride- The Moody Blues
all gym favorites.
36I actually don't listen to music when I do do cardio (which is usually just walking briskly) I go for Doctor Who radio shows or books on tape. A bit nerdy, but highly entertaining, and each episode of Dr. Who is about 30 minutes long so I know that once I've worked through a whole episode I'm done!
37Switchfoot- Oh! Gravity
Mika- Love Today
Relient K- Must Have Done Something Right
Corbin Bleu- Push It To the Limit
P!nk- Stupid Girls
Britney Spears- Stronger
"Love is something more stern and splendid than mere kindness."

38Anything off Madonna's latest album
39"Tesko Suicide" & "Low Place Like Home" - Sneaker Pimps

"Losing Haringay" - The Clientele
"Rehab" - Amy Winehouse
"Smile" - Lily Allen
"Jenny Was a Friend of Mine" & "Midnight Show" - The Killers
"Slow Hands" - Interpol
This sounds a little weird, but Victoria Beckham's I Wish really keeps me going when doing strength training and I haven't gotten tired of it, even after two years! For running:
41Pussycat Dolls - Hot Stuff
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
DJ Tiesto - Sweet Misery & Walking on Clouds

Get Me Bodied - Beyonce
Muscles - Diana Ross
"Only One" and "Gifts and Curses" - Yellowcard
