Seven Habits of Women Who Don't Get Sick
Stay Positive
If you are sitting next to someone on the bus and they sneeze, don't let yourself be that person who says, "I know I am going to get sick," and your body just might listen to your brain. It's not all hocus-pocus; the

i think that some of these are good - i always wash my hands a million times a day - especially since i live in NYC, and take the subway to work. last year i got sick a lot and my dr said that it was probably from being on the subway and having people cough and pass germs. i had just moved back to the city from a place that i NEVER took public transportation so that one makes sense.
as for the foods that you can eat, i've recently started to add garlic to my diet so that should make a change, although i don't care for ginger much so i'm not sure that i'll see the benefits of that one. thanks for these tips though - i'm always looking for ways to boost my immune system, especially with winter right around the corner.
