We all have those little areas on our bodies that we'd like to change. Some people turn to dieting, some people exercise, and others consider plastic surgery. If back fat is your enemy, there's a new surgery known as the bra-line back lift designed to get rid of those bumps and rolls of skin on your back, sort of like a face lift or tummy tuck. Go in with rolls and leave with smoother, even skin.

It's not so much designed for slightly overweight people who carry their fat on their backs; it's more for people who've lost an extreme amount of weight or who have saggy skin from aging or too much sun exposure. After the surgery, you're left with a scar that a bra or bathing suit would hide. The procedure will run you from $7,500 to $10,000, so a flat back doesn't come cheap. Tell me . . .

NO! But I just changed my mind last week that I saw Tummy Tuck pictures of Roni on her website Roni’s weigh. I had no idea tummy tuck was so scary. Roni is so kind that shared her pictures with her website readers.
Though I don’t know what’s going to happen when I lose all this weight that I want, currently after losing 25 lbs I have no saggy skin, but I will lose 60 or more so maybe my skin will look saggy but I won’t have surgery to fix it. It is scary.
Last week you asked how much weigh we want to lose and more than 5 people wanted to lose more than 70-80 lbs so fit maybe you can help us, how to lose weigh so we don’t end up with sagging skin. Will strength training or pilates help?
1I don't worry about it myself, but I would definitely look into it if I'd lost a lot of weight and had extra skin there.
2No... I think the scar looks awful! I would rather have the back fat and have a smooth scar free back.... but to each his/her own, right?
3Considering that when I finishd with my weight loss I might have saggy skin, this might be something to consider, but i think my problem area will be my abdomen.
4Oh wow. Uhm. If it was fat...I'd probably work out or try something else before that. If it was just loose skin, maybe. Just to get a lift. Skin is harder to get rid of than fat. Depends, I guess.
5Yeah, that scar is really unattractive. I mean, if I had saggy skin after a dramatic weight loss, I definitely would consider it, but I would look into possibly getting a smaller scar? I mean, they've come a long way in reducing scarring for breast implants, so maybe there's hope for this back fat surgery??
6That looks painful.
7nope...it would be my luck that i'd get it done...then several years later....it would ALL come back...so whats the point??!!
8wow, that scar is huge. usual post nip/tuck scars are so much smaller. i wouldn't consider this as i'm against plastic surgery - on me
others can do whatever. but i guess this has a market, as even very skinny people have
problems with this area when wearing bra.
9No, right now, it's unnecessary. I don't have back fat issues.
10i think that if i needed it, i would consider it. i always find that my back is one of the harder places to get rid of the excess..when i lose weight elsewhere, and i'm even really thin, i still feel like i've got something extra on my back and that's just NOT attractive and i don't feel sexy.
11bahar: I think the key is to lose weight slowly and steadily (which is smart for many other reasons), and be sure to include strength training in your regimen for toning. I would also take very good care of your skin and avoid those things that break down collagen like sun exposure and excess sugar in the diet. It can be expensive, but regular massages might also help. Good luck!
12that scar is disgusting. i would much rather do it the hard way than spend so much money on painful surgery.
13I loathe my back fat and would love too get rid of it....but that scar scares me so much....
14it's not something i'd consider doing, but it's interesting.
