There are so many weight loss products out there it is hard to decipher from those that work and those that don't. Some products, however, make it very easy to say, "Save your money."
Beautiful lips-skinny hips is the slogan for Joey New York LipFIT Lip Gloss ($15.00), which is a lip gloss that apparently curbs appetite. This is because it contains a blend of peppermint, grapefruit and spearmint fragrances and when applied to the lips, the fresh minty aroma has been 'proven' (uh-huh) to safely help inhibit appetite. The gloss also contains ingredients to firm and plump lips instantly; all while making you feel not hungry. I think a more appropriate slogan would be Beautiful lips-You'll Probably Still Want the Chips. Still interested? Buy it from SkinStore.com.
I know, I know... I am a skeptic at heart, but I am still curious, would you buy it?

but i certainly know a girl who would jump at the chance to try this. maybe i'll send her the link . . .
1I would try it. I am such a sucker I will try anything.
2what will they come up with next??
3I wouldn't buy it. People keep on steering away from the only method that really works. Burn more calories than you put in.
4DesignRchic, actually, I think this one is trying to help people take in less calories (by suppressing appetite) and therefore they will burn more than they eat.
5ive used lip gloss like this once before, they were demoing it at a tanning salon near me, it feels like lip plumper with that like tingly feeling and greenskittlesgal has the idea right - it supresses your appetite so you're not taking in as much calories which is the 'weight loss' aspect, i didnt try it for long but i didnt think it was bad and it made my lips look real nice!
6What crap. I don't even care if the colors are pretty, I wouldn't buy it on principle.
7I just love lipgloss so I'd try it just because of that. If it actually curbs appetite, then that's an extra plus.
8I don't care about supressing appetite- the smell sounds fabulous.

10i bet there are cuter lip glosses out there for a lot cheaper because they don't claim the incredible. i'll stick with my bonnie bell.
11I do believe that certain smells can suppress appetite. So I would consider this if the scents in this lip gloss were those that have been proven through clinical studies to help the cause. I dunno, maybe I'm just a sucker.
12well, I don't have the sence of smell so I doubt it would work for me. But I am a sucker for lip gloss...
13Hahaha I can't stop laughing...
14This is ridiculous. Just when you think you've seen it all
15Pffftttt! Just like that weight-loss soap!
16see when i smell peppermint my mind thinks about girl scout cookies, or mint chocolate chip ice cream..so this would absolutely not suppress my appetite.
Body Oder/Farts/Mildew....that suppresses my appetite. so maybe they should make it smell like that???
--those nail polishes created to make people stop biting their nails tastes like crap for a reason. so don't put peppermint and grapefruit on my lips and expect me to lose my appetite.
anyways it would not work for me, but that bubblegum pink color is cute
17There's weight-loss soap?!
18Hmmmm...maybe this is just because i'm a snackaholic......
but....anything that can help me take a few less snacks can't be all bac right!?!?!?!?!?
I exactly don't need the lip plumper...LOL
!azúcar!

I'd buy it just for the plump and full lips effect. I'm using a lip gloss with mint extract right now (designed just for that plump effect), and I can tell you, as far as plump lips go, it works!!! If, in addition to that it might actually help curb my appetite, then hell yeah, I'd try it!
