Many women still look at weight lifting as a man's exercise, but pumping a little iron can do wonders for your bones. Aim to adhere to the
guidelines for exercise which state we should all do strength training exercises at least two days a week.

I definitely don't do this. I was taught by my sister that strength training is important factor of working out. I hate when women think they will get 'bulky' by lifting weights. Unless you have the genetics of the wrestler, China, then I don't think you have much to worry about.
