Time and time again I get requests from you guys on wanting to know how to get the bodies of Hollywood's hottest mommies like Heidi Klum, Denise Richards and Gwen Stefani, among others.

Lately I have been seeing a trend among these hands on moms and that is: Using their kids as weights. Hollywood's moms have been ditching their strollers and opting for holding their kids instead, which is why I am not shocked that most of these ladies have some fab post pregnancy arms! Think about it, carrying around two 20 pound children (at the least) in either arm is a phenomenal way to get those guns smokin' hot. If you only have one toddler to lug around, like Gwen Stefani or Jennifer Garner, then switch arms every 5 minutes to give each arm an even workout.
Don't have a pair of toddlers? Check out my starter arms workout to get your arms toned for tank top season the old fashioned way.

you forgot to mention the personal trainers, cooks and what have you. takes more than just carrying around babies to look like that.
1but sure, we all have to start somewhere.
I'm not sure how I feel about using your children as workout equipment, lol. Actually it's kind of funny. Whatever works I guess.
2^Though I agree with the above poster! Their reg. workouts and diet I'm sure has a lot to do with looking that good!
Definitely, New Black!
Where are that kid's shoes??
3^^ Butr its hard to keep shoes on kids.
Have any of yall ever tried lugging 2 kids around? Us reg mommies dont have handlers to hold the diaper bag and purse lol its a feat! I have a 30 lb-er and a 12lb-er in a 20 lb infant carrier! My arms will be buff by the end of the year ha
4Everybody use to ask me why my arms were so toned after my first child. I did'nt realize that lifting a child could be considered exercise! After 4 kids I definetly can say it works!!!
5Lifting the extra "weights" does work! I don't have kids of my own, but I recently spent time with a friend of mine who I don't get to see very much. Said friend has a 1.5-year-old. When she took off her jacket, she was wearing a t-shirt underneath and her upper body looked really good. I asked her if she'd been working out, because her arms looked so nice, and she said, "Nah, I've just been carrying Kid around."
(Then I taught her how to do squats properly, so not only will she get some good glute and hamstring work while picking up her daughter, but she'll take the stress off her lower back while lifting.)

You are a great friend to teach your friend how to pick up her kid - I did that with all my Pilates clients that were new moms, or new grandma's for that matter. I love that you are spreading the good word of the "squat". Right ON!!!!
