Work Your Deep Abs and Core
You cannot spot reduce, but you can tone and tone deeply. Strengthening the
deep abs (aka the transverse abdominis) will help to flatten your belly. When engaged this muscle decreases the diameter of your waist and pulls your abs toward your spine, flattening the front of your torso. The deep abs, along with muscle in your back and pelvic floor make up your core. Working your core will help your midsection overall.
