I am a self-proclaimed dog person. Not because I don't like cats, but they tend to make me sneeze. Plus I like that most dog owners are forced to walk more because of their pets. 1haha well I had cats ALL my life and yea i got pretty bad asthma!
2I can't imagine cats protecting against asthma. So many people are allergic to them, including me!
3that heart and cats research is not supported by any evidence or facts...
though i know from my own experience that cats are good to take away the bad energy and pain from body part that is hurt or sick, they just come and lie on top of you and afterwards you feel better. dogs are great as well as their compassion helps.
4wish I wasn't allergic to cats ): they're super cute especially when they don't mind dogs. but at heart, I'm a dog person.

6I NEVER thought I'd be a dog person, but then four years ago my parents got a dog and frankly I'm obsessed. I love all their quirky personality traits and their loyalty and their affection. Playing with my dog is a great way to decompress after a long and stressful day, so I can see why dogs improve your body AND mind.

8Yeah, I'm suspicious about #5. Both my mom and sister have asthma and are allergic to cats, which set off asthma and allergy attacks.
9The logic behind question # 5 makes complete sense. I don't know why people are confused. Exposure to something early in life typically makes one immune to any derivative effects of it. Therefore, if one is exposed to the hair and dentritis from a kitty, chances are they won't develop asthma or allegic reactions to it. I grew up on a farm, so no allergies or asthma for me!

Having said that, I'm a proud cat person, I love every little thing about them (well, except what Soapbox said...). And their purr makes me calm and peaceful.
