Jennifer Love Hewitt has had her share of body issues and media. However, these days she's making sure you know that she's perfectly happy with the way she looks. In fact she told Health magazine in a recent interview that now that she's nearly 30, she wishes she had been nude from the time she was 12 until 28.
This got me to thinking because a lot of us have issues being nude (alone or in front of someone else) and unfortunately for many of us it's because we're not happy with our weight. It's too bad because the body truly is a beautiful thing. I love that JLH says, "I want to tell all young girls to walk around in bikinis all summer—and enjoy it. I want to tell them to never, ever feel bad about anything." Amen sister!
But for some, this is much easier said than done. So I am still wondering about you guys . . . do you feel comfortable naked?

I don't have a PERFECT body, but I think it's pretty darn sexy and I like it and my boyfriend LOVES it so that's all that matters!

11Being naked is a joy. I don't like being half naked (ie bikini) as much, because it breaks up my figure and calls attention to "problem areas," but being totally naked makes me feel and look good.

14I don't like my body naked. Like I would never go on a public beach... However, when I'm alone at home, I do take all my clothes off and enjoy the free feeling of being naked.

19While I am still clinically 'overweight', I am very comfortable with my body because it's who I am!! I don't mind stripping down in the locker room to change at all. I see young, skinny girls high-tail it to the bathrooms to change, and I always think 'why?? you should be proud of who you are!'
20I'm okay being naked but I don't like the way I look--although I'm small, my body isn't toned at all. Without clothes, all my cellulite and and undefined muscles are visible. Ew.
21The BF loves my nekkidness, but sometimes that's not enough. I went to an amazing Korean spa over the weekend with tons of naked ladies in the locker room, and I was astounded at the variety and beauty of women's bodies (everyone was walking around naked as the day they were born, gossiping and laughing), as well as how comfortable I felt despite all of my "issues". I felt completely happy with boobs and butt swinging around for all to see. Yet today, completely clothed, I feel very self-conscious about my figure. I think it has a lot to do with an environment of openness.

25Yeah, Jennifer Love Hewitt is a hypocrite. Both her and Tyra were proud of their non size zeros, and then, weeks later, they're back to being small. That's such a disappoint! What an awful message to send to people who actually respected them for refusing to conform to Western society's standards!
Anyway, I admit, after hitting a buffet or eating an entire box of pizza, I look a bit pregnant, but...Shoot, I still don't mind stripping naked and doing the catwalk. My boyfriend will ask, "Are you carrying our baby in there?" but I just smile. I don't care. Haha.
26i don't know if i've ever felt comfortable nekkid and i kind of wish that i would. i've been with my fiance for a few years now and i think that i still don't like him to see me w/o clothes on. i'm one of those 'turn the lights off and clothes your eyes types. that's sad huh?

28Lol Jude, yet another reason to like you.. My neighbors are gay so I don't care if they see me naked. (Actually one of them did one time, I was topless at the kitchen sink and he was mounting this wind-thing on the fence.. our houses are high off the ground, so no one is USUALLY looking in from my backyard into my kitchen. We don't really talk much so it wasn't a big deal. He's so sweet though, he loves to smile and wave at me. My husband always jokes about how I want to go over there to hang.. they have a pool and everything. Fabulous fags I tell you.)
I love being naked or wearing pretty slips and lingerie around the house.
29As a proud gay nudist, I wish I could be totally naked all the time as I feel it is very natural, puts everyone on the same level, and it is a most comfortable situation. Currently, I am 100% naked whenever possible, private and public, which is a major turn on to me. Let's continue to fight for the right to be naked in public for all to see!! We have come a long way.
