I was at a friend's house the other day and noticed that she had three different types of toothpaste. I gave her a hard time about it, and she explained that she has an everyday toothpaste, which she sometimes combines with a sensitivity toothpaste or a whitening toothpaste. I started to wonder how common this is. How many types of toothpaste do you use on a regular basis?

one, whitening. but i do have sensodine F on my top shelf if i get sensitives gums.
1I use Crest Total w/o whitening. Whitening pastes seem to increase sensitivity in my teeth.
2My dentist makes me brush with a super-fluoride toothpaste before bed, but in the morning I just use my standard Colgate Tartar Control.
3i normally only buy one, but i'll use anything
4and i have a tiny sensodyne for when my teeth hurt but i rarely use it anymore
i usually stick to one at a time cause that's just how i do things. i'm not overly partial to a brand or type so whatever i buy is what i use for the weeks until the tube runs out.
5GoSmile AM in the morning
6Pearl Drops at lunch (If I drank something dark colored)
GoSmile PM at night
I definitely do this w/ shampoos/conditioners, so I guess it makes sense to do it with toothpaste too, though I never would've thought of it.
7ummm I only have one kind and then the extra undere my sink for when I run out!
8One at any given time, but if I see something "better" at the store, I'll try that instead. I also use a fluoride treatment from the dentist the strengthen my enamel.
9One, but I also use floss and a fluoride rinse twice a day. I think that's good enough.
10One. Why would I need more?
11One everyday whitening toothpaste and one sensitivity toothpaste for when I whiten with strips.
12Be careful with floride treatments...they stain the teeth!
13Crest vivid white, there's an am and a pm, so I guess technically that's 2.
14I love Tom of Maine's Fennel toothpaste best and use it most of the time but it doesn't have fluoride so I make sure I use a fluoride toothpaste at least once a day.
15Ugh my boyfriend likes boring toothpaste that tastes like chalk when your done so I buy the baking soda stuff LOL but thats the only reason why we have two lots of toothpaste... The one thing i do have to do all the time is buy a new toothbrush I hate it when they get old they are so refreshing when brand new!
